  Perfect location; Excellent service

  Have you ever stayed at a hotel and thought, if only this place had a better manager, it could be so great? That thought will never cross your mind at Resort Coqueiral as Mr. Alex (the general manager) runs this place like a well oiled machine. He is there to help guests with anything they could possibly need and makes all the guests feel warmly welcomed. Moreover, the location is perfect - it's off the main street so away from the noise, only a couple hundred meters to the beach along the private path, and easy walking to all the restaurants in Candolim. The room was on the smaller size but had a comfortable bed, view over the pool, and great AC. Breakfast was good with many options for dishes to be cooked fresh (included in the free breakfast), both western and local. Mr. Alex was able to rent us a scooter and have it delivered in less than 10 minutes, which was very convenient. The pool is super clean, however a bit cold in January. In the evening there was a security guard sitting at the gate all night, so we felt very safe the whole time. Goa was different than we expected, but for sure Hotel Coqueiral was the best choice we could had made for the hotel.

  The Perfect Hidden Gem for Quiet Getaway

  In the heart of Candolim, yet on a quiet side street near the beach lies a quaint, clean and well maintained hidden gem of a property called Resort Coqeuerial. If you are looking for a quiet getaway yet want to be close to your favourite restaurants and watering holes, this is the place. Very well managed by the charming, affable and super-efficient Alex and his team who went out of the way to make our stay comfortable. A special mention about how clean and quiet the resort is. Highly recommended for nice breakfasts, quiet mornings and lazy afternoons by the pool. I would recommend this boutique property for couples and solo travellers who love the silence and soft sea air but yet can go out for good food and some fun. It was just what my wife and I were looking for and we were very happy with our overall experience.

  Lock down at Resort Coqueiral

  The Resort Coqueiral in Candolim, tucked away on a quiet road, where Goan life goes by, away from the hurly-burly. Now all quiet and closed - of course. On our fourth visit here, we managed to fall victim and found ourselves caught up in the lock down as our flights were cancelled. After a week and acclimetising well, the hotel began to empty - just the 2 of us remained along with the delightful and lovely staff and of course our most helpful, super efficient and wonderful manager Alex, who bent over backwoods to make sure we had every comfort. We were in lockdown. There was no need to worry he said - the hotel is yours, the pool is yours as long as it takes. Ask the boys to get you anything. The uncertainty of when we would return to the UK , was our only hardship. As the hotel provided only breakfast and a snack lunch, the Moonlight Restaurant a few paces away, was delivering delicious aromatic Goan meals, even a replacement bottle of gin, well more than one. Again this wonderful ethos of charm and willingness to help made us feel safe and very lucky. The five boys were not allowed to return to the North after the horrific plight of the hundreds that were trying to get back to their families, The hotel is normally open all the year round .. as Alex said we are one family and we look after our staff...they do and almost as well as their guests. We will return , not next year, but we know such a welcome each time is the start of total relaxation in a very diverse, immaculately clean, and relaxing and friendly small hotel. Alex has a guest list of many who return year after year, early booking is recommended, proof indeed of such a gem of a a place to stay. We manged to return to the UK on a government flight...phew. A phone call from Alex to see if we had arrived safely was over and above any expectations. We were so touched and we keep in touch. The Moonlight Restaurant, also keep us informed with text messages. We truly feel privileged to have found such a special place and all who are within.

  Exceptional Hospitality

  Located at just a 3 mins walk from Candolim Beach, this family friendly resort is tastefully built and maintained, with its lush tropical vibe. The rooms are charming, clean and comfortable. Most of them have a view towards the pool. The open to sky, freshwater pool is convenient to use for all ages, and the best place to hang out during any time of the day. Breakfast was fresh and delicious and can be customized on request, as per availability and if informed in advance. The manager, Mr Alex and the entire staff are extremely hospitable and friendly and go out their way to make sure your stay is most special and comfortable. The pre-stay and post-stay client relationship and coordination is also very smooth and appreciable. Being a frequent traveler, I highly recommend this resort.

  Very nice hospitality and Relaxing

  Very nice hospitality , special thanks to Mr Alex , Ms Samidha and the other cheerful and smiling staff . The hotel is tastefully decorated , very well maintained , with all small details taken care off .
