  COVID restrictions but great rooms!

  We had a comfortable 2-bdrm unit with a south view of the beach on the 4th floor. Surprisingly the outdoor pool and hot tub were open by reservation only. Game room was closed though. GREAT location right on the Promenade in the center of town. Walked the Promenade one way and back on the beach the other.

  Fantastic resort in a fantastic location

  WorldMark Seaside is a fabulous resort with what appeared to be a wonderful staff. Tthe beach at Seaside is one of the better beaches that we have been too. We hope to return to this particular resort soon and I highly recommend it to everyone.

  Accessible room difficulties

  People believe that if they put a rail on the wall on a bench seat in the bathroom, that makes the room "accessible". It does not. We brought my mother to Worldmark to celebrate her 90th birthday. She had not gone anywhere in 9 months and was very bored. We had hoped for a condo with a view. That didn't happen, unless you count the view of the brick wall right outside. Not even a pool view. My mother uses a narrow wheelchair. When we got to our 2 bdrom condo (3314), we discovered that the accessible room had the king size bed in it. Ok - my husband and I could take the bedroom with the twin beds, no big deal. However, the first night when I went to help Mom to bed, I discovered that her narrow wheelchair scraped the wall between the bed and the window, and had the same amount of room on the other side of the bed. Why would put an accessible bathroom in a bedroom that a person in a regular size wheelchair can't use? They need to put a queen size bed in there at the largest. Also, the sink/counter is too tall for her to comfortably use, and the sink has a sloping edge that doesn't allow her to slide under far enough. Again, not accessible. A true accessible bathroom would have a roll in shower, not a regular bathtub with a bench on it. We were disappointed with the accommodations for my mother's 90th birthday trip. If you need an accessible vacation spot, I suggest you look elsewhere.

  Great location and nice property

  Located right on the beach with angled view from virtually every room, this resort has a great location. There are restaurants within steps of the building and all of downtown within easy walking distance. The unit was clean and well equipped and each one has it's own veranda with gas BBQ. Heating was difficult to control and we had to crack the windows or it was too warm at night. The upside of that was being able to listen to the ocean. Our only real complaint was that the lobby was busy and very noisy due to the circular design; sort like an echo chamber. I had a difficult time hearing resort staff during check in.

  Disappointing Birthday week

  They could not find our reservations.... took them almost an hour to figure things out. With two young kids this was unacceptable specially after a long drive to just get there. They were really not apologetic about it either they just blamed RCI reservations for it. We had requested a higher floor and with a view 2 bedroom unit in exchange for our Hawaii unit but our request was not even granted after they made us wait for almost an hour in the lounge in the middle of a pandemic with 2 young kids under 5 years old. We even asked to talked with the manager.... customer was very poor even for the manager!
