This hotel is not insured!!A slip and fall incident happened in Silvertown Apartment today. The Silvertown staff was seen mopping the floor without putting up a wet floor sign resulting in the slip and fall of a hotel guest. The staff who are untrained in first aid proceeded to help the casualty up, aggravating the injury. Now Silvertown / Naki Group will not take responsibility for the incident as their Public Liability insurance is apparently "expired" and cannot pay for the casualty's medical expenses. I wonder what else is EXPIRED in this property. They also don't have an incident or risk management process and are also not compliant with legislative requirements. STAY AT YOUR OWN RISK.

Stay at your own risk, no public liability insurance. This hotel has poor risk and safety management protocol, no basic first aid box, nobody knows first aid, the management does not have service recovery strategy and did not apologize or even ask how we were when my mum slipped and fell at lift lobby area last Sat morning. Staff mopped the floor but didn't put any signs. It's not about compensation which I had to chase them for 2.5 days just to confirm reimbursement for the one unused night's stay and flight tickets back to Singapore for emergency surgery. They won't compensate more than that because their public liability insurance had expired. Meaning they would compensate and provide "customer service" if the insurance was paying for it. Otherwise, no. Throughout the whole ordeal, I met the cambodian manager once and communicated only via phone and messages. He can't make decisions so it was a back and forth situation between me and higher management. Nobody from higher management stepped forward to say or do anything, not even ask how my mum is doing. My requests to speak to someone from management was repeatedly denied. My mum has an open fracture to her right elbow requiring multiple surgeries because infection had set in by the time we arrived in Singapore. She needs a metal inserted, will never regain back 100% of strength and mobility, unable to work for 1 to 2 months and need care-giving. The hotel may boast of amenities and services but what is more important? The luxurious perks or standards in risk and safety management. Would you prefer to have staff who painstakingly learnt how to pour your coffee and open the door or is quick and decisive in emergency situations, offering support and compassion? Would you want to swim in a gorgeous pool or know that the management and operations team truly care about your welfare and wellbeing? STAY AT YOUR OWN RISK.

New Year 2020We normally spend our New Year's Eve at home with the family over a sumptuous dinner, this year we made it different so we booked a 3 Room Suite a day before the last day of the year. The Suite has everything you need already - except for your ingredients of course (which you can actually just buy in a grocery opposite the building) how good is that, right? We prepped some of our New Year favorites for our appetizers and Samgyeopsal for our mains. When we're all stuffed, we stayed at the rooftop bar where we reveled our way with beautiful drinks and cocktails as we watch the city's firework display. Definitely an experience to remember. (The only not-so-good part of our stay was the AC of 1 of the rooms is not working, probably needs maintenance)

Recommend but not recommended.I booked for a 3-bedroom suite good for 6 pax but we were 8 in group so we paid additional 25$ each for excess person. We were also advised to deposit 100$ upon check-in. (But no one advised me thru email or call from hotel or Agoda. Good thing we had cash. I don't know if the deposit is mandatory to all kind of bookings to them.) Room was spacious and have laundry area too. Complete kitchenette available for use. However, 1 AC need some cleaning coz air coming out is useless, super hot! Some light bulbs are busted also. Pool and Bar area is on the 13th floor. Water is clean. The view from it was nice also. I hope they put more signage around the pool area for reminder since it's a rooftop pool. Upon check-out, the hotel was very strict about cleanliness. We were charged 21$ for a bathroom rug STAIN that they cannot remove! AMAZING! (We got the rug for memorabilia. ) So if you will book in this hotel, inspect all the towels or rugs before using it, look for stains, or might as well bring your own if you don't want to be charged. I do hope their policies was clearly explained on the booking sites. Btw, the hotel phone number in Agoda is wrong. No one answers. Google their hotel name and you will find the correct contact numbers. Overall, 7.7/10 rating.

Slightly faded apartment style rentalIt's a little tired, in a generally worn sort of way. So these are two bed condos for rent. You get air con in every room, there's a cleaning service, you get a mini-kitchen and one en-suite with bath, one shared bathroom and a lounge-dining area. The mattresses are pretty good, no issues with sleep, there's a safe, a fridge/freezer, TVs with some sort of weird internet service, a semi-functional wifi and kitchen goods that are almost, but not quite, enough to produce a meal. Two burners and a couple of pans, a water boiler device, and knives and forks for dining. Plates and some crockery. My kids liked the pool, apart from the missing tiles and sharp edges that left some injuries, and the somewhat disappointing "roof bar". It's at the edge of convenience for transport in central Phnom Penh. It's all right. It's not mind-boggling but neither is it terrible. It's perfectly serviceable.
