Lack of attention to detailI traveled with my wife, so booked a 3 person apartment. This was a big mistake, as these apartments have a very small double bed in a cramped room. Fortunately it was possible to upgrade to a 4 person apartment, which was only 10 Euro per night more. It was much roomier and more comfortable and had a balcony. Ventilation in the room was poor. The kitchen was poorly equipped: it didn't even have a cork screw. The restaurant was disappointing. The food quality was OK, but the menu had a lack of variety and the room was huge and with no atmosphere. The hotel spa area was a bit basic and the hotel pool unusable for some days as the heating had failed. Really irritating is that the WIFI doesn't work throughout the hotel. Only in the so called "reading room" could I get a signal and then at the very slow rate of 15 kb/s. This was really unfortunate as I enjoy listening to the news on English language radio on holiday. The hotel television system offered only Italian and French stations, so the lack of internet was even more irritating. I give the hotel a average despite all the above problems, because the apartment we ended up in was large and comfortable. It offered good value for money If the hotel improved the small niggles (e.g. the WI-FI and equipment in the kitchen) it would easily be a "very good".

Self catering ski weekWe stayed here for 5 nights to ski Stafal and Champaluc. You need a car as it was a 20min drive up to Stafal where we parked the car to ski for the day (free parking). The one bed apartment was spacious with a very small kitchenette. Not too well equipped if you were wanting to cook a lot. Comfortable but I found the noise from the other apartments too much. Noisy neighbours when you are trying to read of an evening or hearing scraping chairs for hours on end was too much for me. I called the front desk to complain on the first night and the kids next door obviously sly were told to be quiet. Skiing was great though.

PleasantA clean, functional hotel with small apartments, suitable for families. Breakfast and dinner ok, but nothing special. About 10 minute walk to the nearest ski/chair lift. A bit far to walk into the village. Nice views of the mountain and a little balcony. Somehow seemed more suited as a conference center than a cosy mountain resort. Pool, sauna and games room available. Wifi only in the reception area and first floor reading room.

Wonderful StayWe stayed here for a week and have to say that the staff were very helpful and the location to the little mountain was walkable. The games room and swimming pool were fun. The pizzas are great and for my first time skiing it was a lovey experience
