  decent, but not friendly

  I didn´t expect much when booking my last-minute trip to Agadir with an unspecified hotel room waiting for me, but when checking-in to the hotel I was guite pleasantly surprised that basic things were all there what I needed: hot shower, clean bed, stone floor, window view and even a balcony. What I didn´t like when arriving the second time to the hotel after my 4-day trip in High Atlas was the night-shift manager´s claim that my travel agency has cancelled my room. He insisted he got a fax from my travel agency saying I was not staying in their hotel any more, but he was not able to show that document to me. His tone of voice changed quickly, when I asked him to call to my travel agency´s emergency line to fix this problem. Eventually I was able to stay there for the rest of my holiday without being forced to pay any extra costs, but that episode got me thinking how it would have gone if I wasn´t travelling with a recognized travel agency as my backup?!?

  Fantastic

  We have been in Shems nearly 20 times, and we love the place and the people who work there. They take good care of the guest . In last summer we stay there 3 weeks and now we stay here for 5 weeks. We are a family from Norway, grandmother, mother , father, and two children , one 13 and one 10 year. we will allways go to Shems . We have gone there whith friend and family and everybody love the place and like to come back.

  Clean no frills appartments

  Stayed Christmas and new year.... all in all the Shems was fantastic value for money very clean and friendly. Think it would have benifited having a snack bar where you could get a coffee without going across the road or up to your room. I would have no hesitation at going to stay there again.
