Well organized and locatedPerfect location to visit Baie de Somme starting from Le Crotoy. Next to the seaside, walking distance from the little centre of the village. Parking space available to be paid extra at reasonable price. Warm and professional welcoming, nice little studios well equipped. Suggested for families. We did not use the inner swimming pool but it looks really nice for kids. Breakfast in the room foresees only sweet food (not salted) but still good quality. Fresh baguette and croissants in the morning if requested.

Beautiful location and very overpricedPierre et Vacances at Le Crotoy is in a prime location but is vastly overpriced for what you get. The rooms are tired, facilities don't work properly. Things are difficult to find (look under the microwave or under the sink for you white chopping board!). A 4 bed apartment means kids sleeping in the living room. Unless you pay extra for broadband, you will be stuck with low speed Wifi and French TV.

Not what we expectedWe are staying in a "house superieure" facing the baie. It's one of three. We've spoken to reception about our disappointment regarding the metal fence blocking our view, as well as the ineffective privacy dividers. They say they will speak to the council about it and implied the fence had only been up for a few days. However it is clear the weeds have been growing up behind the fence for a while. Having just stayed at La Belle Dune with a lovely Lake view & growing bamboo privacy dividers, this outlook into scrubland was a shock. It cost over a thousand Euros more a week! In addition the house is smaller and not 100% as we woukd expect - one duvet cover not clean, 3 chipped glasses, a cigarette butt on the "patio"... Plus, having arrived on time at 4:50, we had to wait 50 minutes to get into our accommodation, which smelt fishy. What is also poor is that we were informed on enquiry that as we had a roof rack, we could buy a 30 Euro weekly pass and park roadside. We arrived yesterday in the middle of a festival!! A note was put on our car to remove it from the hotel drive (we thought it was just the front three spaces that we had to vacate for safety). We eventually parked at the station... tho not comfortable as locals told us we might not have a roof box on collection! We will need to bring it back into town tomorrow... Note, 24 Euros per day for parking in Zone 1, 30 in Zone 2 (beach area)!! We looked everywhere for a machine that let us buy the weekly ticket we were told about by email. We trudged home at 9pm, weary boys in tow, without a weekly ticket. When I queried at reception this morning, apparently there is one special machine you can use outside the Tourist Information! Note, some people were removing their roof boxes and leaving them in front of their cars in the underground carpark, but we didn't have the step ladders required for ours, plus what a job at the end of the day!! (even if we had known & booked the required underground parking space in advance!). Hopefully the stay will pick up and the view will be restored...

Unclean & tiredI would not recommend staying here. The apartment was unclean and thick with dust when we arrived. The lounge area also sported a smell of stale cigarettes. The staff did not seem bothered about this. After asking them to clean the apartment twice, they only seemed to make it worse leaving other people's hair on the sinks. We had to clean the apartment ourselves to make it hygienic for a 9 month old baby to stay in. They charged us 10 extra a day for our dog. They should have paid is 10 a day to clean our dog following the stay. The apartment is tired and requires renovation.
