  On 20-27th July we had planned to stay at Odaly's Residence in Golfe Juan, Côte d'Azur. We have stayed there a few times before as this resort is one of our favorite spots. Our reservation was made as late as Friday July 11th. On Saturday the following day, we regrettably had to cancel our reservation after being notified on my mother's relapsing leukemia and very poor outlook. On that same Saturday I spoke to the concierge who promised and committed to refund the entire amount of EURO 1096 which had been drawn the day before. Later on we were informed that only 25% of the amount was refundable. Despite constant and several reminders we have not been refunded a single cent. My mother passed away end of July. I have been traveling extensively for close to 25 years and have never ever encountered such a greedy and distasteful treatment. The only rationale behind their manners would reasonably be they are struggling, or be close to foreclosure and bankruptcy. To hell with Residence Open Golfe Juan. Pär-Olof Johannesson

  Quedado en el tiempo

  Nunca tuvo ninguna reforma en los últimos 20 años. Si llegas luego de las 19Hs te tienes que ganar la vida y llamar a un numero el cual apenas entiende ingles y si tiene un buen día podrás hacer el checkin. Le falta al menos una limpieza en profundidad y una lavada de cara.

  Never more

  I spent two weeks holiday with a friend in this residence. The apartment with a living room with kitchen facility, a small bedroom for one and a good sized balcony, was all right and the beach only 300 meters away. However, we will never come here again. The reception is only opened about 7 hours, so if you arrive after 19:00 you just doesn't get in. We where in the 2nd. floor in building 2, without escalator and the stairs where circular. Luckily we found some nice people to help us take up and down our luggage. Our luggage were heavy as we have to bring our bed sheets and towels, soaps, toilet papers, etc. for which you have to pay extra. The wi-fi cost 6 euro a day, so we had to go to the nearest McDonald for free connection. The parking, which is free, is 5 minutes away. Furthermore, there is no air-condition in the apartment, in a town where the temperature reaches over 35 degrees in summer. On top you have to leave the apartment before 10:00 A.M. completely cleaned, which oblige you to get up at dawn.

  Great apartment in a great location.

  Excellent communications from the owner prior to arrival and while we were there to ensure all was ok. She was so helpful. A great apartment in an ideal location to explore the French Riviera - Antibes, Cannes, Nice and Monaco are all easily accessible using public transport. The sandy beaches of Golfe Juan and Juan les Pins were nearby, and the communal swimming pool was clean and a good size. A great holiday.

  Nice hotel

  Just got back from 7 days at this hotel . Staff were very friendly and helpful . Parking is available free limited spaces or you can pay 38 to park very close by in secure underground parking. Well worth it. No lilos or balls are allowed around the pool area as its not a huge pool, however its a family resort with lots of children, maybe they could look at relaxing these rules at quieter times of the day , we were there later in the afternoon to be told no small ball allowed and only we were in there. What is disgusting is - Dogs are allowed in the hotel but owners fail to clean up their mess and some dogs are left to roam freely in the beautiful gardens weeing and poohing on the main paths of the hotel and grass etc !! This lets the place down.
