Perfect holidaysChanteneige is perfectly well located. The staff and the direction are polite and very nice to travellers, always available to help you if necessary, it was not the case 5 years ago ! The best place to stay in Les Menuires, to be sure to spend a wonderful time.

Very well located, clean and nice appartmentIdeal for family with young kids! Located in front of the telesiege and the meeting point Ecole de ski Française for the kids. View on the slope was nice to have. The appartment was comfy, clean. The kitchen very small but OK. Big bathroom and living room (where we also had to sleep in sofa beds). Very easy acces in the night. The reception was not open very often. The check in was only possible at 4 pm, not earlier. The deposit for eventual dammage was 300 , is too high I think.

Nice building, bad serviceThe hotel did not answer the phone when we required our reservation be modified. We tried to go through Expedia and got stone-walled there as well. Very bad start to a very lukewarm experience. Hotel was new, and staff seemed very new as well. Bad service, long and awkward check in, did not have answers and even gave out incorrect information. Met a very hostile front desk assistant who yelled at me for trying to use the coffee machine. The sauna cost extra and the hot tub was a luke warm pool. They make you reserve a spot but then let anyone down anyways. They charge a premium for certain hours which was totally absurd. A formal complaint lodged with the manager went nowhere. I would not stay here again nor recommend it to anyone.

Quiet, well maintained residence just in front of the slopesStayed for a week in the beginning of february from saturday to saturday. We were lucky to have very sunny week, with snowfalls on a first day and second half of fifth day, It was 3rd time in Les Menuires and 4th in 3 Vallees. The residence is very well located just in front of main ski lift that deliver you on the slopes which are always exposed to the sun and with easy access all 3 Vallees domain via Val Thorens or Meribel. The access to the residence from the gallery is secured with digicode and goes thought the lobby with reception desk. The area is well maintained, quiet and have no unnecessary people. Another access is going from exterior through ski stowage/lockers, where you leave your ski/snowboard after activity. You can ski almost until this entrance and remove your ski about 5 meters to the door, After the lockers you enter directly to lobby and reception hall which are situated on the same level and take an elevator there. There is also ski boot storage in the residence, it is located under ski stowage and can be accessed directly from there or from lower level. Everything is quite usable, you can leave your apartment in slippers, put your boots and take your ski and exit just in front of ski lift, Same to return. You can also access the residence from the outside if you already got the digicode for the door on bottom level. This exit is located just in front of parking, and the main road, thus very comfortable to charge or discharge your car on departure/arrival. There is a opportunity to park the car for free along the main road 20 meters away of this entrance. The residence has an openair closed parking for extra charge just besides as well. Very comfortable. It has 2 elevators for 3-4 people each serving from bottom to uppest levels. Elevators are quiet but slow so to wait 1-2 mins is a normal. We lived on 4th floor in 32m2 apartment rated as 4 gold flakes. It was sufficiently equipped with everything needed also well maintained and recently renovated. No problem with noise, heating and hot water. Maybe it can be better aerated, but for 2 people it was not a problem. May be not enough of place beside the radiators to dry the equipment and clothings after skiing. The building is located is the heart of the station and connected by a gallery with other residences, offices, restaurants, commerces etc Thus you do not need to go outside to get to the bar, restaurant or store if you are not intended to. Rental price for the appartement may be a little over if to compare with other places which we rent on previous years but it is in concordance with its level. It was best place between all our rentals on this station. Les Menuires is very good station and has the best ratio quality/price among the stations in 3 Vallees. Good and well exposed slopes, many blue and red slopes, easy access to whole domaine, and paradise for beginners. Animations and frequent fireworks, good functioning of station services. You just need to be lucky to have a good and sunny weather!

Well located... thats allWe spent a week there, location is great, you have 10-20m walk to be on the slopes or drop your kid a the ski school and you also have a direct access to La Croisette shopping and restaurants area in Les Ménuires> this is the only positive thing... Appartement is super expensive (~1600/week incl cleaning and TV) and for this price it could be in a lot better shape!! Every thing is old 20-30 years and not super clean Ski room is badly designed: shoes are impossible to dry in the foreseen lockers I would not recommend it...
