Return trip. Bril place. We returned to Le Nevez again this year this time with our children and grandchildren. Lovely week. Kids aged 0 to 5 had a great time on their sleds and walking around the area. Took a walk into the village and caught the free bus back Eldest grandson (5) progressed to skiing on the slopes and really loved it. Younger children also hired skis and just played a bit on them in the learning area ( at Le Tapps). Skiing and snowboarding fun for the grownups. Had 2 apartments side by side and this worked really well. Stephane the receptionist was very helpful. Will return again.

Just a lovely place to ski from.We rented a 3 bedroom apartment, this is unusual in ski resorts and made having the two teenagers so much easier. It is within easy walking distance of the main lifts and the skiing, whilst not hardcore on piste, was great fun. Our apartment has lovely pictures on the walls so I suspect the owners are listening to the feedback. We had two bathrooms as well. We used the sauna and jacuzzi almost everyday. The kids loved it. We have explored the valley on foot and the Leisure park. Can't wait to come back in the summer. The village has a good range of shops and bars. Not really an apres ski place, more for families in my opinion. We shall certainly be back.

Good location. We visited again this time with family renting three appartments in total. We had a superb holiday helped by the weather. 8 adults and 5 children in group. Skied everyday and spent time in the learning areas with the children and on the mountain with children and adults.

Ski Trip - Le Nevez Visit 2017Location - Le Nevez is in a great location and is a great place to ski from. Outside of the main village (10 mins away on foot) but in a residential area close to the main lift. Wooded walks near by and near the river. A more traditional feel for resort and a lovely place to be. Accommodation - This is a 2 star residence and is exactly that. We had a 3 bedroom apartment, designed for 6-8 people. This was ok in size but nothing more In hindsight with 3 x 20 year olds joining myself and my wife we should have gone for a 4 bedroom option. The lounge does have a double bedsettee but it is the only couch in a quite small living area, forcing us to sit on dining room chairs. One of the rooms was a small bunk bed room, not ideal for 2 young adults but that was the only choice as did not want to make up the bedsettee each night. One of the biggest issues that for an apartment that supports up to 8 people is that it only has one toilet. This meant at times we were forced to use one in the reception area so not ideal. It had a nice balcony but we had a North facing one so unfortunately did not really get any sun on it. Resort/Area - We loved the area. The skiing is a little limited if you want to charge down steeps all week but for a combination of abilities it was perfect. Even though there had not been much snow, meaning the lower part of the resort was snow free,we had plenty of opportunity to dart off-piste higher up once the early morning frozen top layer had softened. No tree runs due to the lack of snow but the potential is there for earlier in the season. Will definitely return to the resort and loved the overall area. It is not overly expensive and is close to Chamonix which allowed us to get to Aiguille du Midi on one of the days after skiing for a few hours in the morning. Well worth a trip if you have never been there before and returning to if you have.
