Ripped off on uni tripStayed here while on a uni ski trip organised by NUCO. Reception staff were rude and unhelpful. We each had to pay 65 Euro deposits, many of which were returned insufficiently due to fraudulent claims of "broken fridge drawers" or "broken door handles" for example, despite these rooms being inspected and deemed satisfactory by staff before leaving. We were also ludicrously charged communally for items such as 945 Euros for cleaning reception (reception was a small room which was left completely undamaged by us), and 535 Euros for repainting of communal areas (which was completely unnecessary, didn't happen and not something we should be charged for). So please, stay somewhere that will take your deposits only if you are in the wrong rather than somewhere which extorts students and makes fraudulent claims.

Awful stayThis hotel should be avoided at all costs! Rooms are uncomfortable, dirty and outdated. The manager is shockingly rude who seems to take exception to you being from anywhere but the French alps. Not to mention the piling on of unreasonable fines. Our room was cleaned spotless with a full inventory checked before we left, only to be hit with comically large cleaning costs and being charged for 'missing items.' These costs obviously go somewhere other than the cleaning, as the room was a mess when we first arrived. Great trip almost ruined by this awful hotel.

Not annoyed, just disappointedSingle handedly the worst customer service I have ever experienced. The staff at this hotel are extremely rude and unfriendly, upon several occasions when returning to the hotel the guests were met with torrents of abuse and yelling for simply walking into the ski locker room. The room was a standard basic room, with extremely basic amenities and an inventory form was provided for us to fill out at the beginning of our trip - surely the management should already know what they provide to their guests in their rooms? The beds were uncomfortable and the curtains in the residence unsatisfactory for any form of sunlight. The pillows provided were sofa cushions with wrongly fitted pillowcases; good luck getting a good nights sleep on those! However, a shadow was undoubtedly cast on the entire trip by the ridiculous fines presented following vacating the hotel - ludicrous charges including a 20 washing up not done and 45 cleaning charge for a hoovered, clean room simply do not make sense. In addition to this - a staggering 2700 in communal charges including 600 in painting is simply ridiculous. It would appear the group deposit has single handedly helped this dated hotel undergo a refurb.

Tignes, skiingPerfectly pleasant apartment. Clean and quiet. Could do with more reception staff. Had to pay deposit, tax, and dog fees in cash! Very friendly staff. Easy access to lifts, posted, ascenseur and busses.
