Basic, but ok for student groupsI visited these apartments as part of a Breakout Ski trip to Risoul 1850 in March 2013. First impressions are mixed. The rooms are designed for 3-4 people, with a bunk bed, a sofa bed and a pull out bed beneath the sofa. The kitchen includes a dual ring hob with a small grill/oven, no microwave is included. The apartments are fairly well equipped. The was also a bathroom with a shower/bath and a separate toilet. Overall the room appeared clean, however it transpired that all cleaning is done by the previous occupants so cleanliness could vary from room to room. Sheets and towels are available to rent for the week and I would recommend it, as I think the beds operate on the same policy as the room cleaning. In terms of facilities, there were two restaurants, a ski hire shop, spa, bar, nightclub, supermarket and bakery below the hotel so you are well covered. The restaurant in the end (closest to town) block was very good with reasonably priced meals. It also has a boot room with direct access to the slopes, so no walking across town to get to the slopes. It was very easy to get back in the evening. The bar/nightclub below the hotel was part of the 'Grotto of the Yeti' chain. It was very good quality, but expensive. It would worth be asking about the Yeti discount pass if you plan to go often. The apartments are very lively, ideal for students and young groups. However theft can be an issue. Make sure your room is locked at all times, even at night. Lastly, watch out for the room inspector people. They come on the last day and try to force you to pay huge fines, if you have a french speaker with you, I would strongly advise you get them to follow the inspectors round to make sure they don't make fines up. Overall good cheap apartments that are ideal for students and young groups.

nightmare, avoid if you canafter 18 hours spent in the bus finally we were quite happy we got the keys and can go to sleep. Unfortunately this feeling we had only till the moment when we have opened the main entrence door. Awful smell was not welcoming, corridors and lift were dirty, carpets of unidentifiable color seemed that they have never been cleaned or vacuuming. Unfortunately the room did not look any better, I was afraid to touch anything, curtains and its rail were torn off, floor sticky and toilet toilet stank of vomit. the worst joke on this? they ask a deposit of 250 EUR. After long discussion we got a change which was just one level better, using our own sheets we were not afraid to get some sleep. In the morning we have found that half of the dishes are missing, cupboard needs some desinfection prior the use and fridge is full of frozen beer and smelly. We went for skiing as we really did not come here to spend rest of our lives at their reception so that we tried to negotiate a cleaning of our room and putting that into the acceptable condition after our return late afternoon and again the day after. but nobody paid attention to our complaints. the only plus of this property is its location which allows you to start skiing just in front of your accommodation but next time we´ll definitely choose residence with a little walk with skis on our back rather than house of rubbish, dirt, smell and noise.

Bad service, bad quality, abuse of students and familiesThe only advantage of this residence is that it`s close to the ski pistes. If you expect some kind of service and kindness or toilet paper, shampoo, warm water, a working door, bed sheets, quietness at night, not having to clean your whole apartment and hallway which you leave cleaner than when you got here, you probably shouldn`t book a room.

below de minimumThe common areas display a surprising aroma resulting from a fine blend of puke, beer, pee, feces and sweat. The floor is always clean, just don't let it touch your skin. The blankets are free and come with an extra layer of body fluids that provide them good heating properties. The apartment will be as clean as the client before left it and you will be obligated to 'clean' it at checkout. Prepare to pay for a bond 100eur/person and to inspect the apartment at time you arrive. If there is some damage that you only notice afterwards, prepare to pay for it. Prepare to rent sheets and towels: 10eur/sheets + 15euro bond, 5eur/towel + 5eur bond.

This is not a residence, it's a dumpThis is not a residence, it's a dump. They charge 600 deposit, but do not even have cleaning service. Are the guests themselves who are responsible for delivering the apartment minimally clean, even though the apartment does not have a hoover and a mop to do a decent cleaning. We saw a hoover being used by an employee in the hallway, and ask her to borrowed it, but the answer was that it was impossible. For several times we had to climb 6 floors because the elevator does not work after 10pm. Ridiculous. They have the reputation of doing everything to stay with the deposit, so be careful. In our group they charged 80 for missing keys. I do not recommend it at all.
