    Good price for reasonable accomodation

Well. As for french standards quite big appartments, the advantage is that no one sleeps in living room. Perfectly placed right next to the slopes. Realy ski in - ski out. The sauna, swimming pool and the jacuzzi are not the greatest (rather cold than hot). Compering price to standard it is great option.

    Absolutely NOT 4*

We stayed in this residence last year and were surprised to see it listed as 4*. However, as we had been upgraded from a 3*, we didn't feel we had much of a case to complain. This year, however, we ended up staying there again, as there was little other choice in Risoul that suited our requirements. We paid full whack for the supposed 4* facilities, but were sadly disappointed. The bar and lounge area was closed all week (lack of staff apparently, on the busiest week of the skiing calendar!), the log fire rarely lit, and the in-house reception area was closed for 3 whole days and large chunks of the other days, meaning we had to trek next door for assistance. The pool was cold - even my hardy children refused to use it more than once, the sauna was lukewarm (and out of action for some of the time also) and the jacuzzi too cold for comfort. Our apartment was a reasonable size, although we had felt forced to pay for one size larger than we technically required for 5 of us, but several lights didn't work, the extractor fans didn't extract and the dishwasher was temperamental (upper tray fell off its runners every time you used it and it leaked all over the floor twice). Check-in on the Saturday night was abysmally organised - long queues, with only two receptionists on duty, whose customer service skills needed brushing up. One took herself off checking people in, despite the queue (and me standing there wobbling on crutches) and busied herself at the computer instead for a good ten minutes. Not impressed AT ALL (and I usually look for the positives in places).

Great little ski in-ski out apartments, but bring earplugs

Had a great ski holiday here in Feb. 2013. The apartments really are ski in-ski out - we could ski to our balcony. As with most French apartments, ours was small, but spotlessly clean. Cooking facilities were OK. Ski storage area was good, with plenty of space in the ski lockers. Plenty of storage space for all that ski stuff. The pool, sauna and jacuzzi were average at best. Sometimes they were hot, sometimes they were cold. The other residents were a bit noisy - we shared a floor with lots of students, so bring some earplugs. The receptionists were helpful and polite, but reception could have been open for longer.

    Cheap price for poor quality

Very unfriendly staff, cold sauna and cold hottube. Small shower in the apartment. In addition hotel charged us for damages that we didn't make. Wifi costs 30 euro per week. Location is fine however, possible ski-in/out.

    Good price and good location

After reviewing many places we chose this as we came here not for luxury but for comfort of being close to the ski resort. There is a kitchen, two bedrooms and a common room to spend some time together. We had some noisy neighbours and the place lacked a room to left wet equipment but otherwise this was a very okay accommodation.
