  Great stay for families

  We were family of three adults and three children youngest four eldest twelve, all loved the pool, although weather was poor we found lots to do. Morgat was a lovely small seaside French town. House was very clean and suited our party. Outside space was well looked after, plenty of space for children to run around. Only draw back was booking in time as already highlighted we had night crossing and decided to stop on way so we didn't arrive to soon.

  Beach within reach....

  Its situated a walking distance of 900m from the beach. Down in the village of Morgat there are plenty restaurants and a supermarket. The residence's surroundings are well kept except for our apartment which lacked maintenance etc. The beds are not exactly where one is likely get a good night's rest. There is no free wifi ( guess its unimportant). However, there is the possibility to buy wifi for a week, which we did, but it never worked at its optimum. Basically a waste of funds. The staff are extremely helpful and do their utmost.. The pool which was supposedly warm was otherwise which made it unpleasant to make use of it. The good news: they offer a bread service and it is very quiet on the whole. I endorse the rating as Very Good due to its location

  Cocooning cottage

  Went there for a week in April 2016. Very friendly receptionist who gave us a lot of explanation (some administration had to be done upon arrival). Brittany style cottage with well equipped kitchen, cosy corner with LG TV, separate bedroom with wardrobe, en-suite bathroom with bath, shower and a lot of place to put your own stuff, separate toilet, synny side terras with furniture (room 213). Ideal for the two of us! Located 1 km from the seaside/supermarket and fishshop (every morning fresh fish).

  Decepcionante

  Estuvimos dos noches y quizás por no estar acostumbrado a este tipo de alojamiento, nos pareció un campamento militar con tantas reglas, normas, etc.. La casa no está mal, las habitaciones, justas, limpieza, regular y equipamiento lo imprescindible. No creo que vuelva.

  Expect the bare minimum...this is a rip-off.

  The 3 of us booked a house for 6 persons, and we just fit in. The living room, bedrooms, kitchen and bathroom are very small. 2 people will need to sleep on the couch in the living room. Upstairs are 2 bedrooms. One bedroom with a double bed of only 140 cm wide. Two adults will not fit on such a bed. The other bedroom has 2 seperate beds, but the lenght of the beds is only 190cm, so if you are tall your feet will stick over the edge during the night. The space in both bedrooms is really small. Expect a space next to the beds of about 30 cms. The bathroom has a bathtub with a shower sreen and a washing-bowl. Guess how many towel hooks there are in this 6 person house? Just 3!!! There is no WiFi, you will need to buy this. A 2 week subscription for 3 accounts will knock you down with 42 Euros and the WiFi speed is really slow. The kitchen is very basic with very little space. After a week we found out that you had to collect a water-cooker from the reception. There was no tea-pot. The dishwasher functioned but when we pulled out the lower rack, we noticed that a few wheels we missing. The cooking pans had no lids and were not straight, hence cooking on the stove was difficult. The laundry drying rack was broken and you would expect 6 chairs in for the garden set...nope there were only 5. One night the fire alarm went off without any reason. It was replaced next day with a new one. Which went off during showering. The reception at the gate is only open at limited times. When we reported that the cork screw was broken they promised a new one...and we are still waiting for it. The towel and bedding sheet set that we ordered was incomplete. The drying towel was missing the first week, and we only found out that we would get one in the second week. We had hoped for some European television channels but there were just French channels available. The cleanliness of the house was not good. Dust all over the place like on the lamp covers and under the beds. Smelly bath room as well. The gravel street in front of our house was poorly maintained. Lots of weeds were growing on the gravel. At a cost of 1250Euro per week I had expected a much better quality.
