  Relaxing break

  Travelled from England and stayed in this hotel for five nights in June. The double room was very clean and comfortable with an excellent view of the beautiful outdoor pool. We found the hotel staff friendly and very professional. The breakfast was good with a wide range of products. We did not use the Spa, but it appeared to have a number of clients each day. It is about a ten minute drive to the centre of Oria and so a car is necessary. We will definitely use this hotel if we need to go to Oria on business again.

  A beautiful location BUT!

  This resort is set in a beautiful location just outside oria it is a little run down which is a shame as it has great potential, the hotel were very pleasant we stayed just for one night otherwise I would have asked to change our room! The hotel was empty but we were located a charming room with a terrible view of a wall!. We also booked in to the spa which was lovely but the staff did not communicate so I ended up with a relaxing massage when I really wanted something else, we were also unlucky that there were a gruop of guests that did not really respect the spa code and were using the spa pool like a fair ground and during my massage all I could hear was them splashing and shouting. It is a real shame that this resort is not looked after properly as it really could be a five star jewel with its fantastic location and charming antique structure .

  Hmmmm!

  Positives: room very clean and big enough. Poolside was fantastic. Good for swimming. Very quiet. Good for visiting surrounding area. Francovilla Fontana was lovely. Oria not so much. Quaint. Negatives: arrived to find unhelpful unenthusiastic receptionist. No details of hotel given. No tour. Here is the room key. Although he did take us up to it. Wifi down. We asked for a meal on arrival only to be told that the Restaurant was closed. If we had wanted to eat there we should have booked lunch or dinner the day before! What??? Breakfast was ok. Muesli, breads, ham, cake, drinks. There was supposed to be a fitness room but where? No bar as such and nowhere to chill out. Sat Nav didn't recognise it but luckily google maps did in iPhone! All in all, disappointing. Potentially could be so much better.

  really relaxing and a great stay

  i discovered this hotel on trip advisor and needed a relaxing break near charming towns and close to coastal villages - i chose this hotel as it was well placed and offered great services like a gym and was within close proximity of interesting places to visit offering also the possibility to buy great wine like Rose and Red from grapes of the Manduria variety close to cities like Brindisi and villages like Oria and Francavilla. We had a lovely spacious room with a double bed and two singles - the bathroom was well stocked with everything we needed and the cleanliness of the hotel was admirable. The gym was great and the parking was ample - bikes are available free of charge to the guests. The hotel has an onsite restaurant and also offers an amazing breakfast - sweet and savoury items are available and also products for gluten free needs service provided by the hotel staff was very good and the knowledge of the reception staff was great as they indicated places to eat and to visit during our stay. I would definitely return as the health spa also offers so many treatments at great prices and everything about the hotel is perfect for families who also want to self cater as they have mini appartments on offer too.   Very poor New Years Eve

  I spend a night of New Year Eve on party organized by this hotel. Price for the service and food was much to high, cause food was very poor. Service done without any idea about it: main dish served 2 minutes before midnight, right in moment of last counting. Never happened to me that someone serve a food in crucial moment of night, when anyone is interested in eating. Party started at 9 pm, so it took them 3h to serve dinner. Quality of dishes was very cheap, only wine was good. The only good aspect of that evening was fantastic music band "Italian Style". They made this party a nice memory.
