Overpriced but OKFor the price should have had a welcome pack, enough sheets and towels for the guests and maybe a bit more customer focus from the reception staff. All of that said the apartments are nice and the location is good.

Terrible.. NOT prestige! We booked Le Village des Lapons as it's closer to the lifts than Les Chalets d'Emeraude (where we have stayed twice before, and which is of a much higher standard). Main points which have been very disappointing are as follows: 1. Arrived to find we'd been allocated an apartment with shower only (which had a poor quality curtain), even though we'd booked months in advance. We asked to swap rooms, and were told that rooms had either shower or bath. They did manage to find another room however, even though they were fully booked.. BUT 2. The second apartment we were allocated is clearly a smokers' apartment and stinks. We don't want to move again however, so we'll put up with it 3. Furnishings are terrible. More like student accommodation.. A million miles from 'prestige'. Chipped furniture, missing padding from benches.. all smelling of smoke. 4. Kitchen utensils and pans poor quality. The knife provided is unusable, and has the cutting ability of a butter knife.. not great when you're trying to cut onions 5. Paid parking is in a completely separate block which means that on check in, everyone tries to back their car up to chalet front doors to unload, creating havoc and jams. Chalets d'Emeraude are much better as you can park beneath your own building 6. Even though there are clearly ski/boot rooms under each chalet, they are unavailable, and everyone has to use the boot room under chalet block C. Overall, a huge disappointment. My main issue is La Grange's designation of this property as 'Prestige' (which seems a cynical marketing trick). At a lower cost and designation it might just about be acceptable, but as it is it's terrible. Poor

Nothing Presige about this except it's locationWe have stayed twice in this accommodation. We stayed late in the season , and chose the apartments because of their close proximity to th ski slopes. In 2015 We booked a 3 bedroomed mezzanine apartment. On arrival we discovered that the apartment was filthy. The stairs to the mezzanine were almost vertical and it was impossible to stand up. I complained asked for alternative accommodation but were told none was available. I spent my first night cleaning the kitchen area, shower, ensuite, toilet and other area. The beds were horrible some with badly urine stained mattresses. There were no mattress protectors. To add to our woes there is an incredible inventory which they ask you to complete. At the end of our stay I asked to see the manager. I pointed out all the problems her reaction was disappointing. Returning to the UK I wrote a letter of complaint, was assured that the residence had had problems with their cleaning agency which was being addresses and was offered a refund of 10%. Because of the good location we decided to give Les Lapons another try. By 2016 Les Laons had become Les Village des Lapons Prestige. We presumed improvements had been made to justify the Prestige status. We booked a larger 3 bed roomed apartment direct from LaGrange. We paid £1005.00 for a late season week Commencing 2nd April. Plus extra to have the beds made ( still no mattress protectors). You would think that in view of our previous problems and my emails to them that LaGrange London would have done the utmost to make sure we had a good experience. Think again! Once again the apartment was dirty. They expect guest before leaving to pay for cleaning 40 approx, but I doubt very much if our apartment had even been looked at. The bathrooms once again were dirty, the kitchen not much better and the floors not very clean at all. The furniture was tired and uncomfortable. There were bits of hinge sticking out if the kitchen bench and a loose metal stair tread upon which my grandson cut his foot. Once again there was the horrendous inventory to complete. The items listed bore little resemblance to the crockery / cutlery we had. I noted the discrepancies on the inventory, handed it back to reception and at the same time said how disappointed I was with the standard of cleanliness. The receptionist apologised but no more was said. Once again night 1 spent cleaning! On departure the maintenance man came to inspect the flat . He said he could not return my caution because the floor was dirty. He had not even looked at the floor! It was certainly a lot cleaner than when we arrived and his attitude changed when I pointed out the cleaning and maintence issues / photographs. Be also aware that if you arrive with a car there is very little parking available on site, unless you pay extra for access to the underground parking. Returning to the UK I wrote to the CEO of LaGrange. I received a reply in which they denied there were any problems at all. We will not stay with this company again and suggest you do not either. I complained and asked to be moved but there were no alternatives. I spent my first night cleaning the kitchen , bathroom, toilet etc. In addition I had not asked / paid for the beds to be made

Just okWe stayed here in January 2019 for one weekend. The place is ok but definitely not a 4 stars. the apartments are minuscules, the furniture is very basic and there isn't any attempt of making it nice and cosy. It is very functional and spartan. It was somehow clean. Heating worked very well. The beds are not done when you check in, so one has to make one's bed. Small details such as no hair drier ( which can be nevertheless requested) and no toilet paper, are a bit of an annoyance. The reception hours are very limited so they are not particularly helpful. But they provide a croissant/ bred order service in the morning which is nice. Internet has to be paid extra which these days seems to me a sign of low quality. It is close to the slopes but the access is not too easy because of cars and piles of snow. Not all the buildings have ski deposit which complicates the logistic. The swimming pool area is nice but it is small and get filled very easily, Water was cold ( 21 degrees).
