  The place to stay

  We have been visiting here the past 3 years and you cannot go past this accommodation, it's 200m to beach , clean, majority of rooms have views of water and Cannetto , we have stayed their with many families and the service and facilities have been amazing. The host Paolo is amazing lady always greeting you with a smile and nothing is ever a problem. They offer a shuttle service to the port and Salvatore the drive is always there to help. Room rates are unbelievable inclusive of breakfast , plenty of parking and also has a swimming pool. Can't wait to go back next year

  A place to re consider

  I stayed for 7 days and be aware they advertise as a hotel and they are not its a serviced apartments so beds, towels and sheets are not changed daily. Found communication difficult, one male staff at front desk could not speak at all. the rooms facilities are not maintained i.e washing machine had parts broken, safe did not work properly. if your over 6 foot tall good luck having a shower you wont fit in the shower. Don't pay up front as they will not refund if you have a change of travel plans. I would not stay there again there are other HOTELS in lipari that are worth looking at.

  Lovely place!

  We enjoyed our stay in La Viletta a lot! The hotel is beautiful, the view is great, breakfast on lemon trees terrace was lovely, pool was nice, staff was super super friendly! They had a solution to our every request and were always very happy to help and chat! Breakfast had a lot of choices and was super nice! We had a small kitchen in our room, so it was super handy to buy cheap and tasty products from Supermarket nearby, cook at home and eat in a terrace. Restaurants in Canneto are overpriced and did not look so good, so we were very happy to cook our own food from fresh products! The beach was in 3 minutes walk, it was possible to take a boat to nearby beaches as well or rent a scooter and explore the island. Lipari town was very easy to reach with the bus which go quite often. I would definitely recommend this place to stay in Lipari.

  Very welcoming staff!

  We booked this place last minute when the eruption of Stromboli cancelled our plans to visit that island. We took a taxi from the harbor and were glad that we did. The receptionist was very lively and friendly! She showed us to our room then where the pool was located and where breakfast would be served. Breakfast service was 8-10. Our room, Room H, had a small front room with a couch and a mini kitchen. Our bedroom was behind it. It was very nice to have some space to move around! Both rooms had an a/c unit. There was a nightstand on both sides of the bed. The narrow bathroom had one central light that I could find. It was not really sufficient for getting ready in the morning. There was no counter space to place my things although there was a cabinet with shelves behind the mirror. There was also a washing machine that could be used for counter space. The shower was very small and difficult to maneuver within. The temperature heated up quickly and nicely. The shower drain worked well. The free WiFi came and went. It seemed to work better in the front room than the bedroom. Breakfast was a nice buffet and another energetic lady made cappuccinos and lattes. The registration office was locked when we were ready to leave so we left our keys in the room as we were told. The super friendly staff made for an enjoyable stay despite a less than stellar bathroom.

  A very nice place to visit. A place to relex with very welcoming people... relexed place away from everythink to relex and to love the serenity thank you Paula and Alessia for making us feel like home
