  Overnight stay

  My husband and I came to Niles to visit the kids before heading back to NY. My husband booked and when I called the day of check in to see if we could check in early they said yes, they had a room ready. I spoke to Reba on the phone and in person and she was professional yet so friendly and personable. Check in was so smooth and quick. Once we got there we found out there was a "happy hour" in the evening and hot breakfast in the morning. We did breakfast. Nice variety and it tasted good. I believe her name is Cora, but the lady taking care of keeping everything stocked, she was so beyond friendly and kind. She treated everyone like family and that is rare to find. When coming back to visit, we will definitely be staying here again. Thsnk you for a wonderful overnight stay.

  Outstanding!

  This motel is connected to the mall! The mall Is very large and a definite plus! The motel itself was outstanding! I highly recommend this place!!!The free breakfast was outstanding. The cleanliness was outstanding! Everything was outstanding and worth the price!!!!

  Spacious Suite Layout

  Our one bedroom suite was very comfortable. The hotel is average in its decor, service and cleanliness. Google sent us to the wrong location at first. Lots of fast food options nearby. No hot breakfast due to covid. Pool open by appointment only.

  A true gem in niles Ohio

  I recently stayed at this property and was met with friendliness and a warm welcome. The general manager Carrie Biery went out of her way to recognize me as a rewards member even though Im not a top tier. Her dedication to making me feel special and accommodated really set the tone for a wonderful stay. She is to be commended. The rest of the staff i encountered were delightful and friendly. The rooms were very clean and no doubt following COVID guidelines to a T. I felt very safe here. Carrie and Dylan were a pleasure to chat with. I will be returning!

  Awful Evening

  I stayed at the Residence Inn by Marriott in Niles, Ohio on Saturday (July 25th). I was staying only one night to visit family and leave the following day for New York. I only was at the hotel for 12 hours arriving at 8pm and leaving at 8am. I do not think I ever submitted comments before on Tripadvisor, but my experience at this hotel was so awful, I felt the need to make this post so others would not make the mistake of staying here. This was the worst experience I have ever had at a Marriott, and quite possibly at any hotel ever. Shortly after checking in and going to our room, local high school kids took over our hallway/floor. These kids did not practice social distancing (no masks whatsoever), and proceeded to have a party all night long. My wife, children and I were woken at least 5 or 6 times and until about 3:00am in the morning when one of them actually banged on our front door. The hallway wreaked of marijuana smoke all evening and the smell still lingered at 8am when we left the hotel. Even worse, I went to speak to the hotel manager the following morning before we left to express my dissatisfaction with the situation. His response was to tell me "Sorry about that sir. Some of the locals have been checking into rooms regularly and disturbing our guests that have been coming from out of town. We have been receiving complaints about noise and smoking marijuana. We are thinking about doing something about this." I was so disturbed by his response, I did not know what to say. I just walked away and left. His response told me this was not the 1st time this happened and providing a safe and comfortable environment for its guests was simply not a priority for this hotel.
