  Excellent stay

  I stayed here overnight for business. It was a great stay overall. Paid parking around the corner in garage. Room was spacious, very modern and comfortable. I had a view of the city from my room. Breakfast in am was very good and offered some different options that most free breakfast (ex: bacon). Decent location and within walking distance to restaurants and convenience stores in area. I would definitely come again.

  Amazing time

  The city is very small and not much to do when you have down time but I had such a great time at the hotel for the socialable bartender. He gave us recommendations on great places to eat and such. Would come back , just to visit him.

  Stay

  My girlfriend and I stayed at the hotel. The gentleman at the front desk (I think his name was Dewayne) was awesome and well knowledgeable about area. We had no issue checking in. We look forward to future stays here.

  New, Clean and Friendly

  Stayed here for a single night in February 2020. I will be back. The property is relatively new. The rooms are spacious. Bathroom is spacious, with plenty of counter space. I was on the 5th floor and could hear the noise from the street below, but not until I was already up in the morning, and the noise was children apparently headed to school. The staff are extremely friendly--something of a rarity in hard-bitten Wilmington. Breakfast is standard Residence Inn fare, eggs, sausage, oats, yogurt, etc. The dining area is particularly welcoming with its fireplace and casual seating.

  No heat in bedroom or bathrooms

  Despite older reviews I actually found the service to be great - staff were plenty helpful (perhaps they replaced the old crew?). Anyway I wont be stying here again though. The rooms are lovely - spacious and nicely rennovated. We were scoping out the place for a potential long term stay of a couple of months while my husband relocates to Delaware for work. Major issue though: we stayed in a one bedroom suiet and there is ZERO heating provided for the bedroom or bathroom. There is only one thermostat provided for the living room blowing hot air out above the sofa - no ducts at all in the bedroom or bathroom. We stayed last night (mid-Feb) and the room was freezing cold. I didn't even attempt to take a shower. The staff were very responsive and did what they could in terms of brining a blow air heater and extra blankets but it was so uncomfortable I couldn't wait to get home. Maybe if it was the middle of summer you could consider it. I complained upon checkout to the manager in the lobbby - the look on her face confirmed to me I was not the first guest to complain about the lack of heat! I just wish they had warned me. Also there isn't anything to eat by the hotel so be prepared to catch an uber for your meals.
