  Not impressed

  Although I know we are in some unprecedented times and all, I was not impressed with the cleanliness of the room we had. The gentleman at the front desk had gloves and a mask on, but no one else on the property seemed to. In the room, there were spilled food (i hope) stains on the sofa, no extra linens for the pull out, a stream of dirt on the ceiling coming out from the air vent in the living space, cobwebs around the kitchen table, and dust in the bathrooms. This didnt lead to a sense of security and calm while traveling Residence staff. If this is clean while Marriot is stepping up than I wonder what it was like before. Parking lot was pretty full, but on the plus side, plenty of gas stations around and food choices.

  BEWARE - Very expensive pet payment

  So, I stay at Marriott properties all the time. I admit that I didn't check the pet rate at this stay, but found out it was $100 when i got there. My mistake, but it really is crazy expensive and far more than I was accustomed to paying at other Marriott properties, which is why I likely didn't check this particular time. When all was said and done it actually came to just short of $118 dollars. RIP OFF. Again, I share blame, but there should be some consistency. Feels like I was gouged and won't stay there again. Masks are required by state law right now, but there were several 20 somethings in the lobby not wearing them and some older guys who had them pulled down, so not of any protection to others nearby.

  Accept it

  We came into town for 2 nights. We were lectured about all the virus protocols upon checking in. All the garbage cans were overflowing with old food containers. I realize the reduce workforce but it was just ugly. I went to get food upon returning when I walked from the elevator door to our room the smoke was thick and I was looking for chips. Oh on the way to get the food I was met with minors swearing at me at others. Finally got someone at the front desk , he tried to help but was just overwhelmed. I spoke with the AGM the next day she said I understand but theres nothing we can do its tough right now just accept it I have never heard that from a Marriott employee.Please accept mediocrity. Please do not stay here its not worth it.

  This is where you want to stay!

  I have always been happy with Residence Inn and now I remember why. At check in I told Chastity that we had been up for a long time and wanted a very quiet room. She moved us to the second floor at the end and it was perfect. We got a king suite instead of the king room and it was worth the extra $8. I love the full kitchen and table to eat at. The TV can be accessed from your phone so you don't have to touch the remote (how about that?). The room was warm and cozy, but since the heat is "central" you don't have the noise of a fan going all night. The bathtub was clean and comfortable. (The fan in the bathroom was a little loud). Breakfast was to go, but lots of options including cereal/milk/instant oatmeal/yogurt/ fruits/bagels/ hard boiled eggs/muffins/bagels and more. Coffee in the lobby (yes!) Toilet paper was Cottonelle (it matters). I would stay here again. Pool was closed due to COVID.

  Clean. Spacious. Great pool/hot tub.

  The rooms were extremely clean and very spacious. We stayed in one bedroom suite. The pool and hot tub situation was absolutely awesome! You have to check in with the front desk and book a time so its never crowded and always guaranteed availability! Great hours too. The front desk staff were very helpful and nice. The free breakfast is great with lots of variety and Covid compliant! The hotel is Surrounded by great restaurants and shopping. Would definitely stay here again the next time Im in town!
