  Muy buen hotel para viaje de trabajo

  Es la septima vez que visito O´fallon por cuestiones laborales, y nunca me habia hospedado en este hotel antes. Es un muy buen hotel en una gran ubicación. Doblando hacia la avenida K encontrarás todo tipo de restaurantes, el wi fi no pierde señal, el personal es muy amable.

  What happened to this place?!

  I am so disheartened by our recent stay here. We had stayed at this Residence Inn for four months back in 2018, when our home had water damage. The staff at the time was kind and clean and professional. The rooms were spotless and housekeeping was very thorough and professional. We had an emergency at our home the other night and we reserved two rooms to stay here again. Now, it was the middle of a snow storm so I know keeping up with the lobby is hard so I ignored this. Then when we went to our first room we were hit with an overwhelming smell of pot on the elevator. Which continued onto the second floor that we were staying on. At first the room didnt have the smell but after several minutes it did and it was overwhelming in the room as well. They made accommodations for us to move rooms and so we went to the next room. He said there wasnt much he could do about it but he moved us. This room was a handicap room so I am guessing that is why there was no oven? The dishwasher was so off balance I wouldnt let my kids put anything in it. There was a smell that started off not so strong but by the next morning we knew the smell and there was definitely something dead in that room. I wasnt sure where but my husband and oldest son and I all smelled it by morning and it was terrible. The bathtub had mold in the corners. The curtains were stained and falling off the rods. Our comforter had red and blue goop that looked like slime stained to it and when we asked for a new one we were told they didnt have any. The pullout had a large urine stain on it. The staff was running around in fuzzy socks, not shoes washing their own laundry there while FaceTiming family and friends at the desk. Oh without masks (which wasnt a huge deal to me but Im sure to someone it would be) Like it was a pajama party. The second elevator smelled so strongly of bourbon I couldnt even smell the pot anymore. Then I leaned on the wall and my coat was saturated with alcohol. The next morning the pot smell was back. I took my kids down the stairwell so they didnt have to smell it. Again. We couldnt check out fast enough. I ran into housekeeping that morning on our floor...surprised it was one of the ladies from the night white running around the lobby in sweats and fuzzy socks and FaceTiming friends loudly. She was not wearing a mask. Not sure if they are supposed to be while cleaning or not. Found that interesting. The hallway was lined with trash...I never encountered this in the four months before. Why leave days of trash in the hall for everyone to see? Thats why there is something dead in the room....gross. I dont know if there is new management, new staff or what has happened in the past two years that this has happened. I am so saddened by this, we have family stay there often.

  What happened to the Marriott name?

  We came to Ofallon for a 2 day business trip. Seeing several hotels in this area we went with marriott name. First thing we noticed was dirty coffee cups. Second thing happened was our room did not receive maid service on the second day. Then at 4am I was woken by my wife to inform me we where out of toilet paper, I told her to use tissues and was informed there had only been 2 in the dispenser. I then attempted to call the front desk and found out the phone was not working. *** Something that also concerns me is the security door on the side wing of the hotel is permanently taped open! Will be hard pressed to stay at another Marriott property!

  Everything and more!!

  My husband, myself and our 2 dogs are driving from Minnesota down to Florida, we decided to do 3, 8 hour days and landed upon this place because of the location, one because its right off the highway and two because of the amenities surrounding, gas, convenience store, restaurants, liquor store, etc. perfect road trip pit stop! Check in was a breeze, the staff was delightful! Really connected with Lisa at the check in desk about her 5, yes 5, dogs and Don was a ray of sunshine running around making sure things were all in order! The room was better than expected, large, clean and absolutely love having the little kitchenette, also perfect if youre traveling with dogs, they put you on the first floor right by an exit for easy potty breaks. 10/10 will stay again!

  Not happy

  So for one the banging of the doors and the loud slamming of house keeping going in and out of the rooms was not pleasant and we get bag breakfast now Ik this isnt right Bc the marrot in wentzvile did hot breakfast so this was a disappointment and Id say the staff seemed like they had to fake being nice
