Worst Stay ever! **Book elsewhere**STAY ELSEWHERE!! Upon arrival, we were promptly checked in and given directions to our room. When we opened the door to our 2 br suite, the STRONG smell of Chemicals used to try and mask what smells like animal urine. My daughter almost instantly said she got a headache so we opened the windows and left the room. So much for relaxing after a 3.5 hour drive! We returned 2 hours later hoping for the smell and air to be better. It was a little more bearable now until I walked to the kitchen and slipped because there was a HUGE soaked area of the carpet leading to the tile kitchen. Yikes!! So thats where the smell and musky is coming from. I went to front desk to see if another 2 bedroom was available. I was told they were sold out but Lets get you some towels to lay down for now! We walked to the housekeeping area and I was shocked she grabbed towels from a rolling grey trash can full of towels! Were they dirty? Who knows! I guess we will never know what that stain is. Ewe!! So now I am staying in a room Im paying over $300 a night in and I have to tell my kids to keep shoes on in the room cause we dont know what that wet spot is or if the towels on the floor are clean. Ugh. I was on my way to my vehicle with my oldest son to grab a few things and was hit right in the face with very hot air/steam coming from some kind of vent, pointed right at peoples face, right on the sidewalk, RIGHT BY THE DOOR! Who does that?!? My glasses fogged up instantly and I hit my shin on the hitch of a truck that was backed in right by the tunnel of fire! I am now very pissed I listened to my wife and booked this hotel! Now its the next day around 1:30pm and the room smells gross! The floor is still wet and now my socks are wet cause I forgot to put shoes back on after changing. I was still blown away the floor was still wet and the smell was not pleasant at all. Finally its the last evening here and what do you know, the floor is almost dry! With the windows open for 3 entire days and nights, I guess I saved the next travelers a lot of hassle! Im am still upset about it at all! Almost $1,000 to stay in a wet room that smells like a dumpster, a walkway that would probably burn someone if the stood there, and staff that wasnt very helpful! I will be looking for another place to stay at the next time I come down here. Ill never recommend this place to anyone!

Not terrible but could use some SERIOUS help.I wanted to LOVE this place. Our stay was overall about a 6. We had a King suite that smelled of pet urine, but we have two dogs and understood it comes with traveling and booking with pets. We overlooked that. Upon our second visit to the pool, we had issues. I dont personally take COVID as seriously as most, but we do wear masks and take somewhat precautions. The pool has signs everywhere stating their COVID protocols and you must sign in to receive towels and your timeframe for pool usage. We signed in, got our time, pool towels, and headed to the pool. About 40 mins later, two large families enter and start setting up tables with food and about 14 others jump in the pool. The max is 10 in the pool. I decided we should just pack up for the sake of safety the fact there are signs EVERYWHERE stating the information. My 12 year old stepped on glass while drying off. I rushed him and my two other children back to the room to make sure blood doesnt get on the pool area. I go to the front desk and ask for the tweezers in their first aid kit. I explained the situation and was handed a single gauze pad and burn gel. Not an apology or any interest in what was happening in the pool area. I was asked my room number to check to see if I had signed in, the front desk lady found my name and seemed surprised we left before our timeframe was up. She then said she didnt think the people at the pool were registered guests.... uhhh, WHAT? Why would you tell me youre knowingly letting unregistered guests swim here? Cmon guys. Beautiful location but major missteps with hospitality and safety concerns.

Comfortable Spacious SuiteWe had a very nice stay in the studio suite. It was spacious enough for visiting with family members that live within the area. Our suite allowed plenty of privacy as well. The room was very clean and comfortable.

Possible Homeless Shelter - dirty, weird, bad serviceThis property is being used for some type of government program such as "Project Roomkey", to either house displaced people during COVID19, homeless, or a quarantine center. There are both state and federal programs. Had a bad stay as it was, and the property was dirty and lots of people of need staying there, being loud, leaving trash in hallways (lots of liquor) not wearing masks, etc. People walking around middle of night. I asked politely what was going on ans they got very defensive, raised there voice, and wouldn't tell me anything. I decided to leave immediately, cancel my stay and go somewhere else. Very odd. I do know there are lots of hotels using these programs to help out and survive during COVID19 but that is no excuse for treating paying customers so poorly. Just don't stay there is my recommendation.

Good front desk service, clean and cozy, can be better to achieve Marriott's standardConvenient location and very family-friendly hotel, which I always expect how Residence Inn should look like. Service is good here, the trash can outside of the entrances should be cleaned more frequently, the room where I stay is closed to the stairway, can hear neighbor's snoring sometimes, however the space between door and its frame is wide and obviously been opened by forced, the Aisle light from outside of the door bothers a lot when sleeping in the night. Fitness closed, but overall experience is not bad.
