    Adecuado para familiares de miembros de las Fuerzas Aéreas

    Este hotel Marriott es maravilloso, al igual que el personal, instalaciones, mantenimiento, limpieza y la atención personal de los empleados. Este hotel está a pocos minutos de la Base Aérea Lackland, donde se lleva a cabo el entrenamiento básico de AF. Durante la semana de la graduación, muchos cientos de familias asisten a este momento de orgullo en las carreras de los aviadores de AF. El personal del hotel es plenamente consciente de ello y se adapta a estas familias y les da la bienvenida con felicitaciones y apoyo. ¡El desayuno y las tertulias con el gerente por la tarde son geniales! El personal de estos eventos es muy atento y se adapta a las necesidades de los huéspedes. Recomendaría 100% este hotel.

    Mi preferido para ir con mi familia

    Definitivamente la mejor opcion para ir con la familia, con sus amplias y muy comodas habitaciones, este hotel te hace pedirque te quedes unos dias mas de compras o de diversión. Este o cualquier otro Residence inn vale la pena para estar en familia

    Esta muy bonito el hotel pero...

    El hotel está muy limpio, se ve casi nuevo. Las habitaciones súper amplias y cómodas. El desayuno muy surtido. Sin embargo en fin de año no tienen suficiente personal para atender a toda la gente, no me dejaban toallas y si las pedía había que bajar por ellas. En recepción había una sola persona y tienes que esperar mucho para que te atiendan. el último día la camarera no hizo las camas y dejó una nota que habían cosas en la cama y no la podía tender ( había una muñeca y un libro sobre la cama ). Si me gusto pero les falta mucho para atender bien a los huéspedes

    A bit dated

    Property is a bit "dated" and could use some TLC. Thought all the rooms were non-smoking but mine smelled of cigarettes as soon as I walked in the room. I would suggest redirecting the ac/heat vent in the bedroom as the air or heat blows right onto the head of the bed. I had to cover my head in order to sleep.

    Be aware....

    My family and I arrived on Sunday, December 27th, at this hotel. When we arrived, the first thing we saw was a sign that says to not leave any belongings in the car that they are not responsible if the things get stolen. We also saw the floors were very very dirty and the part of the grill was super filthy. The grass was all dry and dead, as if they never watered it. It was still Sunday and late at night so we thought that everything would look different in the morning. We checked in and they gave us room 408. When we arrived there was a slightly bad smell and a tile on the floor of the entrance that was completely broken. We found animal hair (it is a hotel that accepts animals, we even took ours, but they charge a fairly high fee for cleaning, so in no way is it acceptable to not to find a clean room), but the worst thing was taking a plate and finding it in the dishwasher with egg or cheese on it. I don't really know what was it. I quickly went down to the front desk, because we would be staying there for 6 days to spend the end of the year and my birthday. The truth is that lack of cleanliness, especially in these times, did not seem right. Well, the lady at the front desk, told me that they did not have regular housekeeping, and that they were hired people. Also that they were not doing the job well, since the day before, they had other guests with the same problem. She said she would give me another room and that they would take away the fee I was paying for my cat ($100). She gave me room 324. We went to the room, which was worse. The stove and microwave was full of grease, no paper left in the kitchen, the floor that stuck, the bathroom door was black from grime and dirt, the sink was full of dust, the carpet had trash on it in short it was a disaster, but I told my husband that we were already tired after a 10-hour trip. I better go and clean the floor and the kitchen myself a bit, so that's what I did , but when we went to prepare the sofa bed for our son, we found that it was bare without anything and there were no sheets or anything in the closet, so we had to go down and ask. I was already bothered at that moment. I felt bad enough and asked for the manager's email. The next day I wrote an email to the manager letting him know everything that we had encountered, and the moment I sent it to him, I went to make myself some coffee. I found the coffee maker in terrible conditions (I left photos). I dont understand how this can be possible that in a hotel that belongs to Marriott. So I wrote him a second email and sent him the photos of the coffee maker. 15 or 20 minutes later he was contacting us. We were leaving to go somewhere but when we got to the front desk I asked for him. The girls at the front desk told me he was on vacation, but he heard me from the back and came out to ask me to his office. Robert is the hotel manager, he seemed to me like a person who has that job because he knows how to speak very well. He apologized for everything. At this point we had already found quite a bit of a mess in both rooms, and he told me very kindly that he was very sorry and that he wouldn't charge me for the first night and that he would give me an employee rate of $ 55 for the following nights. I thanked him anyway but I clearly told him that it is not fair for any guest to find these conditions in a hotel room, and less when one is trying to have a good time with the family. Anyway, he apologized and I accepted the apology. He also told us that he would change rooms for us. When we arrived at night they gave us the key to the new room, and he changed us to a two bedroom(I appreciate the upgrade). It was also noticeable that they had cleaned a lot and we had a new coffee maker. This room, 416, also had problems, which at that time did not matter to us. We decided not to say anything else and spend the rest of the days as if nothing had happened. But for anyone who goes, I left a video of the sound that the refrigerator makes so that they can make sure that they have changed it because it is an unbearable noise. Also, in the king bedroom, the sink has the drawers falling off, so be very careful, especially if you have a small child that these could fall onto. Apart from that, two days later I got a bill from the hotel that said that I was staying at the hotel from January 28 to 2, quickly call Robert, because I needed my full nights to regain my gold status, since this year we did not go out much. Robert was not the same polite and nice person of the day that I found all the atrosities in the hotel and he told me that he could not do anything because he was not charging me the first day, so it was like we did not stayed (Well he could not charge me the last night or do something else), but he was no longer so helpful. In short, I told him that he charged me (actually I went to that hotel to pay my days, he was the one who promised for everything the disaster that I found). What I wanted were my days and my gold status, and then I got my new bill with all the days collected and also the cat fee that they had told me that they would not charge me either. At that point, we just didnt say anything else. My point is the hotel is dirty dirty. In 6 days nobody cleaned anything, the floors full of stains, the hotel hallways full of garbage (the trash on the floor from the first day we came was STILL there in the same places after our 6 day stay), the elevators all dirty, the garden which I think they never put water in it. In short, if they did not have employees theyd have to close the hotel. Everything is dirty and that is very wrong. On the good side, the hotel has a very good location, next to the freeway and close to many restaurants. Please fix the lights on the name it seems to be called Reid Inn, even that has been damaged. This hotel needs a total and general cleaning. I would never stay here again and less in this situation of the COVID, which is when more cleaning is needed. Sorry I couldnt upload the video, but i also add pictures of the toilet, bathtub, paper towel holder and even the ladle needs a replacement, everything is old and broken.
