Maintenance and Management IssuesI should have read the reviews!!! This hotel had some issues not sure if it was just because its older but it wasnt your typical quality of a Residence Inn. The location was good and so we stayed since we were only here for two nights and arrived in the evening- but otherwise if it was longer we wouldnt have stayed. I definitely would not recommend and I wouldnt return. We were set to arrive at 4 PM and I messaged on the app at 8 AM - with a room request. We arrived in the evening. We were placed the exact opposite of our request. Mind you the parking lot was not very full and we arrived on a Tuesday - checking out Thursday. I questioned it at check in since I didnt get a response on my app. I said we put a message in on the Bonvoy chat app and the very young guy looked at me like I had two heads - apparently he doesnt know what the chat messages on the app even is. I dont blame him - thats just poor management not properly training staff. So after a longer then usual checkin we were off to our room. One whole hallway reeked of marijuana - it was strong!! When we arrived at our room and open the door we were welcomed with a very musty old odor - we were hoping it was just the AC not being on for an extended length of time with covid - so I wasnt going to complain. We quickly put on the AC, we unpacked and got ready for bed. The room never cooled down below 75 (at least thats what it thermostat said) - but it felt even warmer with the humidity. Every time the air conditioner went on it sounds like a helicopter taking off then it made a terrible thump - bang when it went off which sounded like the helicopter crashing. This cycle repeated all night a few times an hour. Needless to say it wasnt a pleasant night since it was very disturbing and warm. Woke up to an alarm clock going off - who uses alarm clocks?!!! So woke up early and with not much sleep to find no coffee in the room. Coffee pot and no coffee. Requested coffee and never got it. We knew we where gonna be gone all day and since we didnt see anyone to report our issues to we left for the day. The smell in our room never went away - it was pretty bad but we only had to sleep there for one more night and where heading out early in the morning. They do have a nice outdoor grill and we used it for our dinner. Other issues - dishwasher wasnt bolted in so it fell forward when you opened it, we used it and dishes where covered in what looked like rusty water. The rooms kitchen was well appointed will all you would need but that was a bit disappointing and I hand washed everything. Finally asked at front desk (when I finally saw a person there) for coffee - they were out. Out of coffee?? I get not having breakfast but the rooms really should have coffee! If its the only food item you are providing you should have it! Overall everything appeared clean and for that alone I gave the stars and not a zero! Its not the staff fault but management and maintenance with the issues we had. I believe the housekeeping should be congratulated for working under these conditions. The floors actually had soft spots and give to it - never ever experienced that in a Marriott property. Not just our room but in hallways as well. We arent large people either. We had lightbulbs out and bathroom had a strobe light, sink had a large crack, front door stuck and you had to use you weight to open it.

Long WeekendThis short vacation was geared around my husbands baseball tournament. The hotel let my husband in early and upgraded our room to an executive King suite. It was so nice. Everything was clean throughout! I did call for a pen to do the crossword puzzle in the local newspaper that I picked up in the lobby and they brought it right up!! Cant say enough about the great accommodations and cleanliness along with parking. I should have taken pictures, but I never thought to do so. Also, right across from the mall with plenty of places to choose from to eat.

Clean and comfortableMoved to this hotel at 11:45 pm on a Friday night because our previous hotel had insects in our bed. The gentleman at the front desk could not have made our check in any easier and was so accommodating. The room was clean, big and had disinfecting wipes close to every surface. Definitely slept like a log after and unsettling experience at a less then nice hotel.

Awful room cleaning during Covid 19Business travel is just returning for some of us and I thought that the hotels are now cleaning the rooms more thoroughly. Room 303 was an awful experience. Black stains on the wall, shelves falling off the wall, trash under the end table in the living room. The upholstery had obvious stains, never sat in then. Only used the office chair after I wiped the lint and paper pieces off it. Kitchen cabinet handles had something sticky on most of them. Tub was stained and it looks like the cleaning staff tried to clean it but just spread it around even more, or scrubbed the top surface of the tub away. Toilet paper had no roller in the holder, just a roll sitting on top the toilet tank. The wash clothes were obviously dingy, but do have 1 that was white. Why doesn't the management do more room audits to check the room condition. With the current restrictions on the occupancy you would think that the room you get is one of their better ones. If room 303 is one of their average or better than average rooms, then I would hate to see what they think an in acceptable room woul be. They also clustered the guests together, instead of spreading the guests out. There were a lot of empty rooms on the 3rd floor but you would also see 4 occupied rooms together, 2 side by side and across the hall door to door. I will not return to this hotel in the future. What an awful experience. Take my advice and choice somewhere else to stay.

The staff does not notice the guestsI stayed at the hotel for one week. The general impression is that the hotel staff completely ignored the guests. One example - breakfast counters are located next to the reception, but only water and burritos for breakfast. Although the list includes: juice, yoghurts, muffins and more. Breakfast from 7 to 10 am, but for several days at different times the racks remained empty. Terrible service. I will not stay at this hotel again and would not recommend it to anyone.
