  It's All About the Service!

  My husband and I have had two days of challenging travel. We arrived at 7:00 pm and received a warm welcome from the reception desk. My husband had to attend to some business, and didn't return to the hotel until after 9. We were towing airplane parts on a trailer, so really didn't feel like going out to find a place to eat. That's when Tim came to the rescue. I think he could tell we looked starved and tired, and he made up a "goodie pack" for us. As we were enjoying the snack, Tim arrived at our door with fresh fruit, water, milk and cookies and more goodies. His kindness is something we won't soon forget! This is the kind of service that makes a stay memorable. The room was lovely - spacious and comfortable, but nothing will top how we were treated!

  DO NOT STAY HERE. UNSAFE- THEFT, BED BUGS, & POLICE BUST

  We stayed here for 2 weeks with our cat, dog, and 6 month old while we were moving. The staff was friendly. The room was rundown but we understood with us having pets. We parked our utility trailer in the parking lot and told the staff we'd be keeping it there. The 3rd night there our trailer was broken in to and we lost over $2,500 worth of stuff. The locked cooler holding our items was sawed in to. The hotel helped call the police and shared with us that they had been having issues with homeless people breaking in to their dumpster and that they advise that guests store valuables with the hotel. Never did anyone mention this to us when we said we were parking a trailer. They also have no security cameras with this known issue. The next day we found bed bugs in our room. The hotel helped by washing our clothes on high heat but that shrunk most of our clothes. Their exterminator also didn't bring the oil to decontaminate our suitcases, pack n play, and baby toys. He inspected the items and fogged the suitcases but it caused the suitcases to smell. The hotel wiped down the suitcases with Clorox wipes but it only removed the smell temporarily. They originally offered to reimburse for new suitcases but wouldn't reimburse us when we arrived to our new home with smelly suitcases. This caused about another $1,000 in items lost. The hotel has concerning things happening in the parking lot. A huge police bust happened in the cul-de-sac where the hotel is located while we were staying there. We found syringe caps in the hallway and sharp picks. I felt very unsafe with my family staying there and we should have left immediately after the theft. Unfortunately we had to wait for our bed bug items to be decontaminated. The staff was very nice and helpful but Marriott did nothing to try to make up for this terrible experience. I even filed a claim with them and never received a return call. We will be steering clear of Marriott's and our relocation company has black listed this property.

  A Beautiful Stay

  What a beautiful venue this is. Our room was even more than we expected. Our check-in was seamless and pleasant. Loved this hotel. The bed and bedding were 10 out of 10 . If you were requiring a place to have a long term stay then this is the hotel you should choose.

  In need of updating

  This hotel use to be excellent 10 years ago. I'm need of major updating. I changed room 3 times due to the bedroom TV not working. The rooms each had something left in drawers that should have been removed when cleaned. Which showed me the were never open. A very expense hotel. Very disappointed for the price. Please updated to its true form.

  Absolutely worth staying at!

  We stayed overnight on August 26, 2020. I had stayed at this hotel previously and knew it was a quiet convenient location. Nina Frolov was on duty at the front desk when we arrived. Our check in was fast, efficient, and we were given a king studio on the 3rd floor. Because if the Covid environment we were advised that the normal RI breakfast was not being offered and a Grab n Go meal would be offered in the morning. The Room: the room on the backside of the hotel offered a view of open space and a lot of privacy, which allowed us to keep light into the room. The bed was VERY comfortable. The room was spacious with a big usual window work table and outlets everywhere. The kitchen was also substantial and everything was clean and impressive. There is a big refrigerator, a dishwasher, and microwave. Everything you need to be very comfortable. The TV did not connect to a signal. A little disappointing. Nina came to the room and did her best to get me connected but w no success (it was already evening when we arrived). She worked so hard to help us, but this was not her specialty, and I was just very appreciative of the extraordinary effort she made to help us. She did offer to make up for this inconvenience that made us very happy. I will say that the staff of Residence Inn was outstanding to a person during our stay. Again, thank you Nina Frolov - you made a difference to a traveler that has been around the world and stayed in many countries and hotels. I know the difference between a good employee and a great one ( and I dont hesitate to point out poor performances either). I will also comment that Costco (w gas) is a 2 minute drive, as well as several decent fast food restaurants, and more. The hotel is less than a 3 minute drive off highway 5 in a quiet location. Lots of parking was available. I wish you the best in your travels ahead. My reviews are a pure intent to leave a good footprint behind for those behind me.
