Horrendous staff, filthy rooms, non-secure locationI travel a lot for work and this wasnt my worst stay at a hotel and ONLY because my car was vandalized and broken into in Baltimore. However, this was by far the dirtiest location I have ever been, and with the exception of two gentleman (front desk check in and a breakfast attendant) the staff was just as terrible as the quality. My room, while updated, was absolutely DISGUSTING. Dirty dishes in the dishwasher, hair everywhere in the bathroom, tub, and on our pillows. It had an odor and dirt level you would expect from a pay by the hour motel. No housekeeping available in the evening I was told, so I had to wait until morning. Stopped at the front desk after breakfast and asked (reminded) that my room be serviced because of the filthy condition it was in upon arrival and talked to one of the most unprofessional and rudest people we encountered our entire stay, Christy, who claimed my room was cleaned prior to my arrival and checked by either herself or another employee. Clearly that wasnt the case, or she just doesnt care. She said the housekeepers were arriving shortly and she would send someone up. Then in pretty much the same breath she badmouthed us to a young man behind the desk, who she was very touchy-feeling with, as if she was annoyed that we interrupted her little rendezvous, and were wrong for wanting A CLEAN LIVEABLE SPACE for our stay. Disgraceful. Christy should not work in any position where she deals with any person, ever. She clearly doesnt know how to talk to people and has no standard of work ethic, nor cleanliness. Her behaviour was something that should be kept behind closed doors! My room was eventually serviced and it was in a much better and acceptable shape compared to when I arrived. Marriott needs to do an entire renovation of the management staff to go along with the building if you ask me! I would never consider staying there again or recommend this location to anyone! There are three hotels in eyesight from theirs, pick somewhere else and save yourself the trouble and disappointment.

Has now become a great place to stay!I, my husband, and two young children were placed here for two months after we relocated from Florida. We were greeted with a warm welcome into a beautifully renovated suite. It was a stressful move, especially with two young children. Initially, we had some trouble with some of the housekeeping staff not doing their job and management making promises they couldnt keep. However, Marriott recognized this and cleaned up the staff and since then, we have had an excellent stay! Aiden and especially Mary at the front desk provide a warm reception and make us feel like were actually coming home. Raheim offers a nice selection of food at breakfast as well as a good chat. Christy and Nakeya make sure that our housekeeping needs are met and treat us as if we are their own family. Clarissa is the Mrs. Clean of the Residence Inn. Our room is always spotless with little extras after shes been in. Anna and Beth make sure to say hello anytime we walked past their offices (and offer my son little gifts or candy). Beth even made a full Thanksgiving meal at home and brought it in for everyone. We were so appreciative to have a home cooked meal! Im sad to say that we will be leaving. As happy as I am to have our own place again, Im going to miss the staff we garnered a relationship with and who made our suite feel a little more like home. I highly recommend the Residence Inn in Exton as a place to stay and would definitely return if we ever need a place to stay in the area again.

Family members recent visit at Residence Inn , Exton, PAAugust 7 - August 9, my daughter-in-law and my two grand-daughters stayed at the Inn. I met them for an outside picnic on the hotel's grounds. I inquired about the safety measures the hotel was taking. I was unhappy to hear that the registration desk clerk was not wearing a mask, other employees were also observed without masks. I was also told that the majority of the guest seen were not wearing masks inside the hotel. Prior to their visit, I had read the precautions on the hotel site that the staff was supposed to be taking. I'm very disappointed that these precautions were not followed.

Cornovirus concerns at hotel.. Been at hotel since December 23, 2019The hotel management and the higher ups like regional manager Karen, Stephanie right under the ceo Arne.. They are in violation of not enforcing the mandatory mask order signed into law by the Pennsylvania Governor Wolf. They only consider the lobby as "public" space not the hallways where you pass people all the time.. most people not wearing masks and some coughing. They say they cannot "police the hallways". Pennsylvania's state health department, secretary of health, Governor Wolf's office, local police department, and the cdc all said the hotel is in violation and that the hallways and elevators are public spaces and it is mandatory all guests wear a mask which the hotel disregards and refuses to enforce.. They thumb their nose at the mask law.. Most likely because they took such a big financial hit during the lockdown they need to make up lost monies. The hotel is to ask the guest to leave the hotel if they refuse to wear a mask. A complaint was filed unfortunately because of the hotel's refusal to enforce the policy. If the hotel continues to ignore the law they can be fined and get shut down until they choose to comply. They have zero regard for the publics health, they are part of problem, they are helping spread dangerous germs. They only care about making money and their own safety that's why they declared only the lobby a public space area. I have a voicemail from Lonnie the hotel Manger saying there is nothing they will do and that they will not "police the halls".. Not surprised since some of their own employees don't always wear a face mask. Well there is something I can do and that is to warn all of you. Stay at your own risk. There are visitors here right now from some of the states where there is a high coronavirus outbreak. These people that refuse to wear a mask are a danger to all our health. Especially the sick and vulnerable. The hotel is a bigger risk because they refuse to take action and do something. They said for us to file a complaint with the health department, so that is what I did. Sad. Stay away and go to the Hampton right across the street, they enforce the mask law in the halls. Hotel isn't safe to your health they have too many people without masks coughing. Besides they let guests litter the halls with stinky garbage and dirty bedding and towels with human vomit. The best thing is they now allowed this one particular family which all refuse to wear a mask, leave vomit soaked towels, dirty bedding thrown in the middle of the hallway to leave their own personal dirty laundry strewn in the hotel. Never seen anything like it. Please stay at other hotels in the area, there are many. Good luck to you all and stay healthy. Nobody wants to catch coronavirus and I truly believe staying at the Residence Inn in Exton Pennsylvania will put your health at risk. Please don't subject yourself, your loved ones or your health by staying at this hotel.. The risks don't outweigh the benefit. They are not in accordance with the state mandate.

Clean, home likeOur room was amazing. It had a little kitchen area, the bed was soft, they gave us extra blankets and towels as requested. The manager was amazing and helped us. The hotel is near everything for shopping pleasures
