Worst hotel and staff experience.This hotel was hands down the worst experience we had on our month long trip around the USA. We made the terrible mistake of arriving at 2.30pm and asking if we could check in. This was obviously a big problem because we were informed quite rudely that check in was not until 3pm. I mean come on 30 minutes early what were we thinking. Then we asked if we could leave our luggage and come back later to check in. The answer to that was NO. We could leave our bags in the foyer but they accepted no responsibility! Never ever heard that at a hotel before. Then after waiting till 3.15pm our room was finally ready. We explained that the only request we had made when we booked directly with Marriott was not to get a ground floor room. Guess what we got. After telling them that our son gets scared on ground floor rooms they said thats all we got. Then later that night we were woken at around 10pm with people running up and down the internal fire escape. After an hour of this I called the front desk and they told me a school group had just checked in earlier and some of them were on the ground floor and some on the first floor and its quicker for them to use the stairs than wait for the lift. So much for that rubbish we were told at check in about only ground floor rooms available. Worst hotel experience ever.

Very Good Stay in PalmdaleWe went to Palmdale to visit a friend. Got in early and Christian at the front desk gave us an upgrade due to my Titanium Status. He was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area restaurants. He also informed us that the only thing that is not finished in the renovation is the swimming pool- which we did not need anyway. The renovation is finished- everything looked nice and new in our room and in working order. I was amazed at how shinny the Frig was! The room is very nice and clean- and there is even new wall paper in the bathroom. The bed is comfortable. Breakfast was OK- had eggs, sausages, fruit, and can make waffles. We were happy with our two night stay. People were very friendly. The only slight problem was some people came in late on Saturday night and were laughing and making little noise.

Comfy bed but downhill after that.I had a stay here from 7/8 thru 7/10 for a business trip. Cost of the room was $180/night. With tax cost/night was $200/night. For that price, there are certain expectations including comfortable, clean room, comfortable bed, housekeeping, etc. My issue here was housekeeping. The door hanger to request housekeeping read on one side, All Set. My suite is good for the day. The other side read, Later please. Im enjoying the space. Neither of these is very clear as far as requesting housekeeping. Well I guessed the wrong and got no housekeeping after a 10 hr day. Of course by the time I got back to the room, housekeeping was done for the day. Inasmuch as the door hangar proved to ineffective in requesting housekeeping, I did take a few photos showing that the door hangar is useful in showing the poor workman ship in my room (329). I noted several places with door trim with insufficient nails or caulk such the door hangar can slide between the wall and the door trim. See photos. Also noted the poor fit of the shower enclosure poor workmanship on installation. Good fit at the top of the rolling door, poor fit at the bottom of the rolling door. Also noted water on the floor after taking a shower again poor workmanship. When being charged $200/night, these are things that should happen in the first place. In the second place, I would expect Marriott to follow up on this issue when it was brought to their attention but theyve been silent for over a week now, so Im sharing the experience. They get two stars for the condition of the room and lax customer service in following up.

Close to the freeway.Very convenient. However, our gps took us a roundabout way to get there. If you use a gps, double check your route with a local map. If you are on highway 14/138, exit on W Ave P, go east, then south on 5th st. W. Close to shopping and dining. About 10 miles from Antelope Valley Fairgrounds. This was a one-bedroom suite, with a separate bedroom. The in-room dining is via local restaurant delivery.

El peor hotel que he vistoEl peor hotel en el que he estado y peor me han tratado. Los alrededores están siempre sucios, los electrodomésticos no funcionan sobre todo el estractor de humos que hace saltar la alarma de incendios todos los días, es viejo y está mal cuidado, y encima la gerente no sabe resolver problemas, no tiene capacidad ni sabe gestionar los problemas de los huéspedes, enseguida salen con amenazas y el trato es de lo más ruin que he visto en muchos años. Siempre y cuando vayas a dormir y estés en silencio todo va a ir bien, pero si tienes un problema estás perdido con esa gerencia. Sin contar que se escusan en el covid para no limpiar la habitación en semanas. Un verdadero horror de hotel y de gerencia.
