    Wouldn't recommend based on lapses observed during out stay

    We were quite hopeful when we arrived at the hotel, but our experience was terrible onsite. I am a Gold member and stay exclusively at Marriott brand hotels (business as well as with family). The hotel looks and feels new/nice/clean. But our (covid era) experience left a lot to be desired. 1. Staff wasn't wearing masks most of the time. When asked by my wife, she was told the person has JUST taken it off and had left it at their desk.. 2. Conflicting information around room service. A notice outside the elevator said there would be service every alternate day, and a notice inside the elevator said there would be room service every 3rd day (per Marriott guidelines??). 3. On 22nd December my wife asked for room service, and she was told the room service staff was on holiday till 26th december and hence there would be no room service. I arrived a little later at the front desk and asked for room service as their notice (at front desk) said service won't be offered on 25th December due to Christmas. I was told ofcourse service will be offered. I'm confused as to what was going on!! 4. Breakfast was limited (understandable) but the way it was setup was horrendous. The milk was spoiled, and wasn't checked. My wife had to ask for new milk and the person recoiled after smelling the milk out for guests. They did change the milk. There was NO ICE in the trays holding cheese, butter, yogurt and other perishable goods. This made no sense as then whatever was left would probably go back into their fridge for the following day! 5. Room service was also spotty, a bunch of crumbs left on the dining table when we arrived at the room on day 1. There was no lotion and other toiletries offered and instead we had 2 shampoos and 2 conditioner bottles (which made no sense, essentially a lapse of the room service staff). Disposable cup we left in the sink was still there when we got back as well. 6. Toilet Paper holder was broken. We understand these are challenging times, but these lapses are easily avoided by attentive management (which seems to be lacking at this location).

    Some adjustments needed

    We have to be a bit flexible here as we are in virus times. This is a pretty new establishment. Some guests were complaining about the breakfast; at the current time (last week of dec 2020), I found coffee and juice ready, a few buns, some fruit, but no waffles, eggs, or bacon. Not sure if the toaster was out. A rather melancholy scene. But I'm thankful for the coffee anyway. At the gym, no one could get the t.v. to work (at any station), and they need to put out some sanitizer so we can wipe down the equipment before and after using. Good view from the upper floors! Please wear masks and social distance! And happy soon year.

    Okay Stay

    Nothing to brag about, needed a 2 bedroom hotel room, got a good rate on this one. The room I stayed in was a little below average for a Residence Inn hotel room though. There was a lot of dust on top of the refrigerator, not exaggerating when I say a lot. Also the hotel room temperature could not reach above 73° for some odd reason, the phone in one of the bedrooms was inoperable and the lamp shade needed to be replace, plastic trim came apart from the shade. Other than that, the hotel was quiet, front desk clerk was helpful, polite, and courteous, and the beds was comfortable. Would give this hotel the benefit of the doubt and try it again in a future date.

    Snow storm stay

    We checked back in last night around 10 to avoid getting caught in bad weather and the GM, Brittinae, was outside salting the sidewalks. She went above and beyond for us our last stay here and we saw her yet again doing the same for the guests, so we gladly brought her hot cocoa the next morning when we saw her shoveling with a metal yard work shovel, salting again and bagging the trash. Our experience is managers don't do the things you normally see the staff doing. She proved us wrong at this location and it showed throughout her staff. Management has cultivated and nurtured a great team and it showed in how we were treated all around. The staff has been welcoming and always friendly. We thoroughly have enjoyed the breakfast, the sandwiches are delicious and a nice touch to the mundane to go bags. The rooms are clean and the housekeepers are also very polite. If we travel through here again we will stay here every time.

    THANK YOU, ALEX AND BRITTINAE...!!!

    This is our 3rd visit here and it cannot possibly get any better. Yes, its that good. You will find this to be the cleanest hotel in the whole Marriott chain, with the friendliest staffers (like Alex on the Night Desk) and housekeepers youll ever find. The fitness room is massive, with free weights, machines and even a scale. Breakfast is the usual Grab n Go (bottled water, protein bar, yogurt, orange, Jimmy Dean breakfast microwaveable sandwiche and little 2% milk cartons). We so very much appreciated our Titanium upgraded room thank you GM Brittinae! It was also quite large, with screened windows that open for a breeze, a bath tub and giant TVs. Such a joy to be here so you know we shall return for a 4th time. Very good show, GM Brittinae!
