  Bad choice.

  To be fair, this place is not like any other Residence Inn I have stayed at before. They should just rename this as an Extended Stay. The place is like an apartment complex. I was late into town and this was close to my morning meeting. I assumed this was something entirely different.What I expected was a top-tier hotel. The check-in process was poor. The room was average and not clean. I didn't need a kitchen. The toilet was running all night. The heater fan all night. Some other machine .... all night. The breakfast was average.

  Not bad, wouldn't stay again. In desperate need of refurb

  During my 3 nights here, it is really sad to say that the beds are about as comfortable as sleeping on a wood plank with hay, so each night I could only get a couple of hours of (interrupted) sleep. I tried to move to the couch, on my last night, but it did not help. The gentleman checking me in could not have cared less than I was there, which made for a very awkward check in. There were also numerous stains on the carpet that looks very worn. The door also kept getting stuck when trying to enter into the room, which is annoying with groceries, suit cases, dinner, etc. Finally, the bathrooms are SO SMALL. Not for the claustrophobic.

  Worst Marriott

  Janice (front desk clerk ) was extremely rude and wouldnt give a key to the room to the registered guest.. Bonvoy Customer Service also called the property and received the same nasty attitude. We were checked into a filthy room and was told housekeeping would be in on Monday. Called customer service back and was told Wendy Wilson ( General manger) would contact me about the issues - she didnt- I went to her office and was told her other property the Hilton Downtown was more important. I didnt receive an apology or how can I make this right. When youre at the Marriott property focus on Marriott andddont be blatant that you dont give a damn....

  Unexpected stay

  We couldnt make it home from work before the ice hit. Julie at Residence in quickly insures we had rooms and dinner! The staff is friendly and very accommodating. Looking forward to another nights stay.

  Better than expected

  The hotel was definitely a lot better than the reviews let on to be. The room was clean and the area is very convenient. There could be some updates, but overall I found it to be okay for our overnight stay. The front desk staff could use some customer service training, but other than that it was good.
