  Acudí con mi esposa a Pasadena solo para acudir a ver el fútbol. Seleccioné este hotel por la cercanía al estadio Rose Bowl y no me equivoqué. Muy buena ubicación a dos calles del centro de Pasadena ( restaurantes, bares , tiendas etc ) y otras dos calles un súper para surtir tu despensa y aprovechar la cocina completa con que cuentan las habitaciones. Habitaciones cómodas y elegantes. Hotel muy seguro. Además de alberca y será de asadores. Desayuno gratis y los lunes y martes te ofrecen snack gratis por las tardes. Volvería !

  Great location in Pasadena

  A highly recommended hotel to stay for business or with family in Pasadena. The room is spacious with kitchen and sofa. The staff are friendly and helpful, making sure the guests are taken care. There are many shops and restaurants within 10min walk. Strongly recommended.

  Great except no bathtub and no sugar-free yoghurt at breakfast

  Our room on the 4th floor overlooked the inner courtyard/pool/spa. Highly recommended, as the building is up against the freeway and 2 busy streets (Walnut, not so bad, Fair Oaks, 5 lanes.) I wouldn't want to have opted for "mountain view" or street side and heard the cars. Staff extremely solicitous, explained all this to me. Prepared a room so we could do early check-in. Spacious comfortable studio with bed tucked in an L, real kitchen w teeny dishwasher, full size fridge. Heating/cooling system hard to master. The inner courtyard area very pleasant, with ping pong, barbecue grills, patio umbrellas, a big (but never hot enough) spa, a decent pool. Interesting mix of nice families, business people like me, budget tourists, and some extended stay people. Decent breakfast with real thick-cut oatmeal, make your own burritos and waffles, fresh apples, bananas, and the usual pale underripe melon chunks and canned (?) pineapple. Only yogurt choices LOADED with sugar. Huge TVs blaring morning shows, unfortunately. My beef was the lack of a bathtub (only 2 rooms in the entire joint have them.) The location is just a few blocks too many from Old Town -- you can walk to a CVS or a Ralph's but it's pretty brutal along trafficked streets. Ditto Whole Foods, about a mile away. We had no car and Ubered everywhere. You're walking distance to an Il Fornaio near W. Colorado (the "main street" of Old Town) and a great restaurant on W. Colorado called Mi Piace. Also recommended to us by the front desk was Russell's and Cafe Santorini, tucked away on the second floor in an alley near Il Fornaio -- we didn't go to it but it looked great. I had a business event in LA, and decided to stay in Pasadena because I don't like noisy cities and I'd heard nice things about Pasadena's Arts and Crafts/Green &Green houses. The old town is now pretty torn up with freeways and one-way streets, but there's lots of beauty surviving. Don't miss the Norton Simon museum if you like good European art 1700s -- forward, or stunning Indian, Tibetan and other Asian devotional bronzes and stone sculptures of gods, goddesses, bodhisattvas, mythical devas, etc. But skip the adulatory half hour video, it's a waste of time.

  Good Hotel for Pets

  We had to stay here in a pinch due to an extended power outage in our neighborhood. As expected, the Residence Inn is a solid hotel that consistently delivers a good experience and product. Positives: * Staff were very friendly & helpful * King suite was spacious for our family of 4 and pet between a king sized bed and a full sized pull out sofa sleeper * Room has a decent kitchen with the basic supplies need to cook meals * Location is an easy walk to Old Town Pasadena where there are lots of restaurants, shopping, and frozen yogurt or ice cream for the kids * Pets are allowed, but there is a $150 charge per stay Not So Great: * Room carpet was dirty and probably hasnt been washed in a long time * Too many patrons smoking marijuana even though its non-smoking. We smelled it in the hallway of our floor and the garage was full of marijuana smoke and exhaust * Self-parking fee was $22 per night

  Worst Experience Ever!

  If I could give zero stars I would. This hotel is falsely advertised as a non- smoking property,when in fact there are ashtrays all over the property. Construction work crews from next door and many homeless people stand around on the grounds smoking all day. The parking garage is very dangerous with no security and non- guests and homeless wandering around looking into cars. It is very unsafe. Our room was dirty and had NOT been sanitized as advertised. The desk staff were inattentive and rude and offered no solution to our complaints. STAY AWAY from this hotel, there are much better, cleaner, non-smoking hotels in Old Town Pasadena!
