  Our stay was amazing!!! The room was clean! Beautiful! I was so relaxed and so was my daughter! And the welcome we got from Tuesday she was amazing! Friendly! And made sure we knew exaclly all ameneties! She is such a valued member of your staff. I have to say everyone we encountered were great and amazing! Tuesday just stood out for her personality! It was so amazing as i sat in the smoking area wich i appreciated as well. Another guest and i were just raving about her! GREAT JOB RESIDENCE INN!!

  Lacking Amenities

  Our family traveled to Lakeland for a youth baseball tournament, fully aware that businesses are still dealing with COVID-19 risk and prevention. We were thankful for hotels and restaurants to be open, but I felt the amenities and services were lacking here. Biggest shocker was NO HOUSEKEEPING! We had a 4 night stay, and I do not feel eliminating housekeeping is any way to keep things cleaner. Trash accumulated, and it would have been nice to have the bathroom wiped down while we were there. Housekeeping items like towels were available at the front desk, by request. There were breakfast items in the lobby each morning available to go, which was fine. All in all, this property is very dated and does not have a clean feeling. However the staff was friendly and doing the best they could, given the situation (I got the feeling they are short-staffed). The location is good - lots of shopping and restaurants. I noticed a couple nearby hotels that are newer and more contemporary, which I would opt for next time (and Im generally a Marriott fan).

  Good Covid-19 protocols & pet friendly

  Since The Residence Inn in Lakeland is the first hotel we have stayed in since the Covid-19 pandemic, my wife and I were concerned about health & safety procedures at the hotel, but we were reassured by the hotel's cleaning, social distancing, face covering practices. We also appreciate the pet-friendly policy.

  Mostly Pet Friendly

  My husband and I came down to visit the Wonder House in Bartow (A FL. MUST SEE) and the owners recommended this location to stay with our two pugs. The hotel was VERY clean and the staff were friendly. However, there were a few quirks, due to covid we presumed, like no linens on the pull out bed and no extra pillows. Also, most times we came down there was no employee available at the front desk. The room was cozy and did feel like a home away from home, but the amount of area available for pet walking was minimal: including several signs that warned no pets on the grass Overall, we would stay here again if near this area!

  Great place to crash well you see the sights

  The room was very comfortable. Having a full kitchen was wonderful. We were visiting for a wedding and travelled to Clearwater beach and Crystal river. It was a great basecamp with great amenities. The staff was prompt to meet our needs and the hotel was very clean. We will return again if we are in the area.
