  This place is tired!

  Over the weekend we made a quick trip to East Tennessee...Knoxville was an easy place to stop for the night. This Residence Inn need a major remodel. Things look old, out of date, and weathered. The entrance and lobby are dark and not inviting. Our first room was an upgraded suite...with a window that was next to the fire pit...way to busy and loud. The front desk was able to move us. The elevator is scratched and worn with abuse. The refrigerator...giant dent in the door??? This hotel is near I-40 and it is very noisy. Would I return...no...to many negatives.

  Terrible Service

  They would not clean our room and we stayed four nights. Terrible management and terrible service. We payed way too much money for this kind of service. If you say anything about it then your the bag guy. Never stay in this place!!

  Avoid This Place

  This is a tired hotel managed by a very nasty general manager. Amenities listed on the website are not available. Breakfast consisted of a 29 cent muffin and a tiny bottle of water. Much noise throughout the night. Incredibly noisy A/C. Don't stay here. There is nicer lodging in Knoxville.

  Almost Perfect

  Im going to start out by saying that this was my first time at a Residence Inn. Also, all of the common areas are spotless and the outdoor area of the hotel is super inviting. The outdoor pool has closed for the season, but that is to be expected and given that the fitness center, business center, fire pit, and basketball court are still open, I think that is plenty. There is also a little store in the lobby, which is rather nice. As for our room, it was a one bed room suite and was super nice, having a kitchen, living room, and desk on one side of the doors, and a bedroom and bathroom on the other. Some parts of the room were a little bit warn, and its the first Marriott without there new smart TV system that Ive seen in a while, but the price was right so no big deal. Due to COVID, they didnt have a hot breakfast, but every hotel Ive stayed at since COVID except for a Drury have operated that way. We did have a bit of a problem with dog hair being on the sofa, but it was handled quickly, professionally, and kindly by employee Sherri, who is one of the nicest people youll meet. Also, all of the employees here, especially Sherri and Bradley, were super nice! Also, I-40/75 create plenty of road noise, but it helped me sleep. The only major complaint I had was some most interesting plumbing in the shower, but I still got clean with decent pressure and hot water, so its not a big deal. Overall, Id highly recommend this hotel to anyone needing to stay on the west side of Knoxville, even with the large amount of nearby hotels.

  Good hotel!

  This hotel is in a convenient area with lots of restaurants and stores nearby. It is next to a Courtyard. The Courtyard large sign can be seen from the highway but the Residence Inn only has a small sign by Langley Lane where you turn to get to the hotel. Staff was friendly. Our room was clean and comfortable with a large walk in shower. The breakfast is very basic with a muffin, granola bar and bottle of water in a to-go bag. There is also yogurt and fresh whole fruit (bananas and oranges) as well as coffee and hot water for tea. Hopefully they will offer hot items and other options soon. We stayed at a Fairfield Inn and another Residence Inn on this trip that offered scrambled eggs and sausage (served by an attendant), bottled juice, and individually wrapped English muffins and bagels.
