  Great Location

  Room was clean. Staff was great. Pool was warm. Breakfast was fresh and hot. There was an issue with the AC. It was not a huge issue, but we did receive a discount for the inconvenience. Don't believe the bad reviews. We will be back.

  Complete Residence Inn Room

  The two clerks at check-in were helpful and made sure I got my Marriott room preferences. But they should have mentioned a better way to access the room from a side door rather than bringing everything through the main lobby door. It was quite a tour of everyones room numbers. The Residence Inn room is wonderful with a well-supplied kitchen area including a toaster (thank you) and full-size refrigerator, a lounge area, bedroom area, and a large bathroom and large shower. Absolutely no cramped space here. It was hard not to notice the somewhat sticky floors. This was not because they were dirty, but because of high humidity in the room. Even with the air conditioner running adequately, the humidity was high which even showed on the thermostat control. The check-out clerk seemed a little uncertain to me. Maybe he doesnt normally handle that role? So, overall a good stay, but keep in mind this is not the Waldorf Astoria.

  Not sure what has happened here-not what it used to be

  Typically I will drive out of my way to stay at this location, it is one of my favorites in the KC metro area, however on my last stay I did expect some changes with covid, I did not expect to see caked debris on the bathroom air vents, a barely functional toilet and to top it off when I went down to check out, the female clerk had on a sweatshirt that said something to the effect that I don't realize how much she doesn't care, no lady I do and it sums up the changes to this once great location.

  Bad room

  We went on a birthday trip for our son.This was a handicap room on the first floor.We did not want or need a handicap room.The room is in need of update and repair.The sofa had a baby stain that looked like dog urine.The cabinet door in kitchen was broken.It was so noisy I had to go ask the desk for a fan for each room to lessen the upstairs noise so we could sleep.I would not stay here again.Not worth the amount they charged for this room.

  Disappointing

  My friend & I prearranged a stay-cation at this property for three nights (Thurs-Sunday departure). I tried to remain positive in my accommodation choice (brand loyal that I am), but it was most challenging esp when it seemed that had no choice but to register a complaint then leave to look elsewhere for accommodations for fear of retribution , OR to put on my gloves, spray disinfectant, and clean all of the kitchen including appliances, countertops, dishwasher, coffee maker, seating surfaces , light switches, door handles along with the bathrooms sinks and faucets. There were undesirable indescribable marks on the walls and the upholstery was filthy (I used bath towels to sit on) and there had been little to no vacuum action in my room and most other carpets throughout the property. Very, and extremely, disappointed with Marriott and staff, or lack there of, at this specific property.
