  Located just E of I-55 near the County Line Road exit, this is a hospitable Residence Inn location. The room is spacious with full kitchen, dining table, sofa, separate bedroom, 2 TV's, and combination bathtub/shower. The bedding is comfortable, and there is plenty of lighting and electrical outlets. The heating/AC unit is right there in the wall of the bedroom. If you have the heat or AC turned on high, you will definitely hear it running and it will also blast onto the bed. There is an exercise room (one treadmill, one elliptical, one cycle, and free weights) and pool area. Free hot breakfast offers eggs, bacon, oatmeal, waffles, breads, yogurt, coffee and juices. All the staff are very courteous and friendly.

  Excellant Customer Service Precious

  I recently visited Residence Inn by Marriott, Ridgeland, MS. I was greeted by Ms. Precious Thompson. I was using my points as she verified that during check-in. I was not aware that I would need to still apply my credit card as a deposit because I had booked the room online. Ms. Thompson took the time to explain the process to me and reflected that most members were not informed during booking that they would still need to apply a credit card. I was very pleased that Ms. Thompson took the time to explain the process to me, because I had used my point on previous Marriott hotel stays and I would receive a credit card charge pending but no one explained or did not have the knowledge as to why. Ms. Thompson explained that each hotel process is different and, in the future, to ensure that I ask the question to the representative before booking. I really appreciate Ms. Precious Thompson following up with me to ensure my room was okay and if there was anything else that she could help me with.   Precious was very helpful and informative during my check-in. She was very professional and had a great personality. Precious is a great asset to Residence Inn..You rock Precious.. I wish more hotels had a Precious at the front desk.

  nice staff

  this was a nice hotel. we choose to stay at Residence Inn's when given the opportunity. Precious was our arrival clerk and she was lovely and was great when I was a pain in the neck and wanted to switch rooms! Breakfast was OK. nothing to write home about. the staff servicing it was lovely and so friendly. the breakfast area was clean and nice. the room was OK, a bit tired. The fireplace it a joke as it doesn't do much of anything so don't pay any extra for it. the room was clean but there was a roach in the bathroom.

  Beware rooms are dirty

  We have stayed at this hotel before and had no problems, so we felt safe staying here on our first trip since Covid started. Big mistake, the room was not clean, the sheets were dirty and the duvet had make up on it. The mattress on the sofa bed was disgusting stained and very dirty. There were cigarette burns on the desk. We let my grandson crawl on the floor and his knees were black Everyone at the hotel is super friendly but clearly they arent doing their job in the cleaning department. I spoke to the asst manager Pallas Reed and showed her the photos and she said she would waive my pet fee. Clearly it is not safe to stay at this hotel until they get their cleaning standards back up to par. This was not a family vacation, it was a military wife and children returning home after her husbands deployment.
