  Great as usual, free breakfast

  Typical Residence Inn if you have ever stayed in one. Very clean and newer. Decent location not too far from the expressway, some food options not very far. The staff is nice and friendly, really good free breakfast and reception on Wednesday nights. The Fitness center is good for the hotel size. The rooms are clean and cozy. Bed and pillows are just the right amount of firm in my opinion. 1 bedroom king has a good amount of space. Good size TV in each room. My only complaint is the actual remote control for the TV. It doesn't have number keys, so if you are seeking a specific channel you either have to go to the guide or scroll up or down channel by channel. Also, no sleep button on the remote, you must go into the settings. Full-size fridge, large hallways, relaxing outdoor area with plenty of seating, pool, hot tub, and basketball court. This place is perfect for a long stay or even short.

  No service left...

  This place has really suffered from Corona, they must have furloughed all their employees, cause there is literally no service left. If your in for cleaning your own room and dumping your own trash, this is your place, otherwise - stay away until they have resolved the service issues. For over 200 dollar per night Im not into picking up my toiletpaper from the reception area....

  Beware - photos do not match the actual rooms

  We booked a +2 month stay, choosing the one-bedroom king suite. Much to our surprise, the kitchen area consisted of a 2-burner electric cooktop and not much else. This did not match the photo on the website for this room type (which showed a typical "full" RI kitchen)*. Fortunately, the front desk did move us to a room with a full kitchen, and I thank them for that. However, they did try to hang their hat on the "Images may not fully represent the room features you booked" disclaimer on the website, which was pretty petty in my opinion. I suggested to them that they may want to adjust the website to more accurately represent the room, but as of today (2 months later) the website is the same. Pro Tip: only the king suite "corner" rooms have the full kitchens. If you intend to stay awhile, and cook (like we did), those are the rooms to ask for. The rooms closer to busy Clay Road do receive a bit of road noise, so avoid those if that keeps you up at night. COVID protocols: I applaud their COVID protocols. Mask use is required in the hotel, and, unfortunately, some services are reduced. Room service for us was only once a week, which in the end was okay. Laundry room was adequate. Service when I had to go to the front desk was good. Chris, the maintenance/engineer guy, was super nice and very responsive when we had a TV issue. *I have almost 900 lifetime nights in Marriotts, many of those in RIs, and have noticed lately that not all rooms in RIs are fit for long term stays for those who like to cook.

  Honest and nice staff

  Beautiful clean room and convenient location to west Houston! Most importantly mom left her Louis Vuitton bag and they returned it days later when she realized it was lost! Love this hotel staff will stay again!

  Poor Service from Management

  The only reason this Hotel is not getting terrible is because the room and inside is fairly new, however, on Saturday 11/21/20, I stopped by to visit a friend who was staying. As I entered the parking lot at 9am, I notice several males that appeared to have NOT be staying at the Hotel and/or visitors of someone staying there. Nevertheless, I locked my door twice before entering the Hotel. After fellowshipping and eating, I came to my truck and discovered that someone broke into it a stole several things; which included my Badge, Gun, Tablet, County phone, etc. - Police were called and I completed a police report. I asked another guess if he saw anyone in or near my truck and he said he saw two guys earlier in the parking lot smoking marijuana. My issue is that when I advised the Manager of the incident the following day, she basically was nonchalant about assisting and didn't appear too interested in viewing the surveillance cameras. On Monday 11/23/20, she stated that it was basically too much to review, but the little that she saw, she didn't see much activity by my Truck, but after she look at it a little more, she would call and email me of her findings by the end of the day. No call or email received! I called again on date (11/24/20) and the Manager, was like, "oh, well from what I saw, there was a lot of activity, but I didn't see anything noticeable around your vehicle. I asked for her to send me an email stating that she viewed the surveillance camera(s) and didn't see anything, in which, I know I will not receive. So, if you stay there, I advise you to LOOK out your room window about every 5 minutes, because there's no security, Loitering from teenagers/others that appear to reside nearby, and manager appearing not to be too concerned with the security of the guess or hotel.
