  Great Hotel

  Check in very quick. My go to hotel when in Greensboro on business. Internet connection excellent. Staff excellent. Room excellent. Location excellent. Rooms are nicely furnished and up to date. Breakfast included. How can you beat it?

  No hot water

  First off, this is a great hotel if you like loud airplane noise, cold showers, bad maid service, and limited parking. Honestly, Im not a picky traveler at all but the bathroom situation at this hotel was awful, above all else. The hot water, during my eight night stay, was virtually non-existent. I tried everything (letting the shower run for several minutes, taking showers at non-peak times, etc.) but nothing worked. I mentioned it to the front desk at least once, but nothing seemed to help. At the very best, the water was luke warm when the hot water handle was switched all the way on. This was my primary issue at this hotel. Also, there is a very discernible rumbling/noise pollution from the airplanes flying overhead. Not really the hotels fault but a nuisance nonetheless. The WIFI was spotty, at times, and logged me out at random. The maid service generally didnt start cleaning the first floor until late in the afternoon. Id come back to my room around 3:00-4:00 pm and my room hadnt been touched. When it WAS serviced, there was no effort to clean out the sink or clean the floors, change the sheets, replace toilet paper, etc. Parking could be spotty, as well. If you arrive late in the day, expect to park at the Hilton H2 across the lot as there was virtually nothing available at this Marriott. The breakfast seemed decent and the folks at the front desk were kind, on the plus side. Overall, a pretty bad experience at this hotel. I was booked for 20 nights but requested my company a different hotel about halfway through my stay because of the issues. This was the first time Ive ever had to do this in over eight years. If youre lucky, and end up with a suite with hot water, this would be an okay hotel for a very quick stay but definitely avoid long-term. Its been one of the worst stays in virtually two years of constant travel around the country.

  The worst residence inn

  Being a lifetime elite member this is by far the worst residence inn Ive ever stayed at. For the first night the air conditioning was not working and the room was at 83 degrees. I told the front desk when I left in the morning and returned that night to another miserable 83 degree room. I called them the next day at lunchtime which nobody answered and returned a call half an hour later and explained to them I was not coming back to an 83 degree room so the put me across the hall into a room that did have ac but the dishwasher was not draining so it had standing water in it so I attempted to hand wash my dishes but there was no hot water. I dot know if you ever tried to wash greasy dishes with cold water but it doesnt work well.

  Great hotel but you must know your dates!

  I liked the hotel and the employees. Unfortunately I made reservations through one of those travel sites. When I found that I could leave a day early, the front desk refused to refund for that one day. If you are on business and don't know exactly what your schedule is, be very careful. They implied that if you call the hotel directly to make reservations, they would be more inclined to charge just for the days you are actually there. I hope so anyway.

  No Hot Water!

  No hot water for 4 night business trip. Management would not allow use of an unoccupied room's shower. This is the worst customer service I've ever encountered. I will advise our company [located nearby], to steer our executives and clients away from this property.
