  Great place to relax after a long day. Thanks you George for taking great care of us! Love Marriott. A home away from home. Great front desk and shuttle service. Just wish we had better weather for our visit.

  Friendly Staff and Clean Rooms

  I stayed at the residence inn for close to 3 months. Their staff was friendly and helpful throughout my entire stay. I always had a clean room and the staff was able to accommodate my "numerous" requests that I would need to stay for a bit longer. It was easy for me to spend a few months living here and I would definitely recommend the hotel for anyone who needs a room in the DC area.

  Great 2 week stay...

  Finishing up a 2 week stay in one of the larger suites. As I began my search to find a hotel for 2 weeks in the Washington DC area, I kept coming back to this hotel for some reason, and it was absolutely the right decision. The price, location, and most importantly, the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff, led me to give it 5 stars. In particular, I would like to mention the helpful April, who, true to her word, went the extra effort and researched local swimming pools for the kids to go to. Also, Martha at the front desk patiently handled our requests for more towels, and printing requests, all without flinching an eye. Also, the Polish maintenance guy always had a smile on his face as I saw him around the hotel property, ensuring everything was clean and looking just right. Finally, a thanks for both Wendy and April for planning and putting on a special kids' activity night for kids in the hotel.

  ALARMED

  Have stayed at many Marriott properties as a Marriott Bonvoy member and card holder and all have been good until now. As an Elite member, I'm normally content with just a late checkout. I went here for a little R&R before work and was given a room with a faulty fire alarm that chirped loudly every 2-3 minutes. After bringing it to the attention of the front desk, I was told that maintenance was not on property yet and should arrive in 20-30 minutes. I waited and not only was maintenance late, I was told the replacement brought was not a correct fit amd new batteries would not fit (original batteries had exploded and corroded inside the unit). By now, I have limited time to sleep and am in pure disbelief that I was given a room with a complicated issue to fix. I requested to be left to get some rest and maybe fix the issue the next day. It was granted. Not once was I offered a different room OR a future stay to replace this horrible one. Not sure what more I can say. It was my first visit.

  Ty Went Above and Beyond

  I got to the train station. The nearest Uber was 23 mins away. I called the hotel, and Ty gave me phone numbers for three different local cab companies. I got to the hotel, only to realize I didnt have a phone charger, and my phone was about to die. Ty found a promotional Marriott-branded lanyard that doubled as a phone charger. This was all at midnight on a Monday. He hooked me up with complementary high speed wifi. He went above and beyond, always with a smile and the patience of a saint. You are lucky to have him.
