  Alojamiento muy cómodo

  Un hotel muy cómodo en las afueras de Grand Junction. La habitación era luminosa y sobre todo amplia, también los baños, y estaba limpia (fue gracioso encontrar bajo la cama un cartelito que decía "limpiamos también aquí abajo"). La proximidad del aeropuerto no supuso molestia alguna. El servicio, atento, rápido y profesional. Por la mañana ofrecían un rico desayuno bufé.

  Overnight Stay

  This Residence Inn appears to be an older facility with 2 queen beds in our 2 bedroom suite verses the standard kings. There is a $6 nighty parking fee which was strange as the parking lot was empty. The staff, as with all Residence Inns, makes up for any negatives with positive and friendly employees.

  Worst physical hotel experience in 35 years as a Marriott Customer

  . We were assigned room 104. There is a dumpster sized A/C compressor right outside the window. .Despite assurances it would not run all night, by 11:30 pm, I went to talk to the front desk. The employee on duty told me that he gets complaints all the time from sleepless guests, specifically in that room, but often in other rooms because of an extremely loud HVAC system that also will shake the entire building during the summer months. He showed me another room, a studio, not a one bedroom like I had, but that room was also very noisy. I would like to give this employee credit because when I asked him to see about transferring us to the Courtyard that shares the parking lot (I expected no issues since we are Titanium Elite) he was very receptive and arranged a transfer immediately. So, at midnight, we were packed and walking across the parking lot to a nice room where we could get some sleep.

  Not as good as previously

  We have always liked this Residence Inn in the past. The location is good for going over to Moab, Canyonlands and the Colorado River. The location is still good. However, during COVID times I am extremely disappointed in the way things went. On the one hand, you give up a lot during these times but pay the same rate. No hot breakfast (of course), no garbage taken out or new towels. I guess you had to ask for the process to have this stuff done, but I think we should have been told at check in. We had no soap when we checked in. My big concern was the lack of masks on some of the staff. Two staff members got in the elevator with us and didnt have a mask. Same in the hallway next morning. The sign outside states customers need to wear them into the bldg and all open spaces. I saw staff walk in without them.What gives. There was a huge sign in the lobby about the cleaning processes. I was disappointed as we chose Marriott for extra protection. I was concerned that our room had been cleaned by someone who was not following precautions. We did let the desk person know and initially got no response. The desk person in the morning seemed more concerned and did state she would talk to the manager. The breakfast was also a disappointment. There was a piece of cheese, a bruised Macintosh type apple, a tiny sugary type yogurt and a granola bar in the bag. There was nothing healthy or appetizing. I cant imagine anyone actually eating this stuff. There is a parking fee of $6 per day

  We loved our stay

  The hotel was perfect for our stay. We did some biking in Fruita, before heading to St. George. The kitchen allowed us to cook a dinner there and eat it with our feet kicked up on the coffee table. Although the breakfast is just a sack breakfast now (Oh, how I miss their breakfasts!), they did the best they could with what they could do. We would stay here again.
