Excellent stay. Five stars except that it's an older property.I stayed here for 20 nights from 12APR2020 to 02MAY2020 and had a good stay. The hotel would receive five stars but it's aging a bit and it wouldn't be fair to other brand-new properties that fully deserve five stars. That being said, this is probably the best option for Marriott Bonvoy loyalists who are staying in Fayetteville for an extended period. The housekeeping staff and managers were all excellent. There were a couple employees handing out breakfast bags in the morning who were at times rather stingy with the food, but maybe they were running low. I don't really know. Some of the breakfast sandwiches were good, others were just bun and sausage patty. Not great but I realize they were going through difficult times with the virus. The rooms were well-stocked and what you would expect from a slightly older Residence Inn. There was no oven in the room, but it had everything else. The TV and entertainment options were great. The internet only went down once for about 7 hours while I was there. The pool and gym were closed, but they looked nice. The laundry room was good, there was plenty of parking, and the room had plenty of electric plugs dispersed appropriately around the space. There was also no room safe. The location of the hotel is pretty good. There were plenty of restaurants and a Walmart in walking distance. Close to Fort Bragg. I would stay here again if back in Fayetteville for an extended period.

What a DUMP!!!Stopped in for a night while passing through the area, the title says it all. The place looks like it's 30 years old and hasn't been touched up since it was built. Absolutely disgusting property, i hope i never have to return again.

WORST RESIDENCE INN I HAVE EVER STAYED AT!!!!!!!!I encountered several problems during my stay from 9 July to 20 Aug 2020. The house keeping staff was not provided satisfactory service on cleaning my room during my stay. I also noticed on several occasions that the General Manager and Assistant General Manager as well as several members of the house keeping staff who were not wearing mask due to the COVID-19 pandemic. A few days before I decided to check out early, I started noticing roaches in my room and went and told the General Manager (Rose Guinn) who came to my room and also saw a roach. I wasn't supposed to check out until 24 Sep but decided to move to a Hilton property due to all the problems I had at the Residence Inn Fayetteville Cross Creek. This hotel is in dire need of a renovation. The couch in my room was covered with stains where it looked like there had been a orgy in my room prior to me checking in. Very disappointed that this hotel carries the Marriott name. It is not living up to the standards I have come to expect as a loyal Marriott Bonvoy Titanium Elite member.

Clean and Quiet RoomStopped here for just one night, got there late and left early. Our room was clean and ready. Right next to the Cracker Barrel. It offered a quiet room and a good night's rest. The bed was comfortable. A perfect combination when traveling. We got a decent breakfast to go. We would be happy to stop back again when traveling through the area.

In need of renovationThe one pro - the staff was lovely. Otherwise, only negatives - The room was in clear need of an upgrade. I was traveling with my toddler and I was scared to let him touch things as the room was so old and grimy. No bath time as the bathtub had black gunk. Pictures show a tripping hazard (carpet) along with the leaky sink and what I can only assume is some gross bacteria growing in it. Not up to Marriotts standards whatsoever. New sheets and towels doesnt help this situation. Even with thorough cleanings - its time for a major upgrade. I wouldnt stay here again. To the gentleman who was working behind the plexiglass - the mask goes over your nose... not just over your mouth.
