    WOW. Wonderful Accommodations!

    The Hotel is lovely and immaculate, studios and suites are extremely well appointed, there's a 24/7 coffee bar with three flavorings for your coffee, tea or hot chocolate. A full hot breakfast is included and was beyond what we expected. The lobby has a variety of seating from in front of the fireplace to work areas. The outdoor patio with fountain will be great in season. We were there in February. We must admit after saying "we'll go back", the best of our experience was the greeting we received from Monica at the front desk. Amazing. We use a variety of Marriott properties but we've never had such a warm welcome. From offering us water to thanking us for our business to acknowledging our member status we've never been greeted and made to feel welcome as we were by Monica. Dover hasn't been a stop on our trips north to south and return but it will be now.

    AMAZING GM...NOT!!!

    Great GM!!! Jessica Yacone calling the cops on hotel guests because she wanted them out of hotel when her shift ended at 5pm instead of the 8pm per governor Id Delaware. Glad to see GM go above and beyond. Great leadership and amazing sympathy at times like this when people are supposed to be helping one another. She even yelled at us and had cops come back at 5:08pm. Then at 5:20pm, we were checking the room and she started yelling at us cause it was past end of her shift. There was no compassion or any type of apology. Great person to be in the hospitality industry. Maybe Blenheim and Mariott should retrain her. Again, we were fully obeying leaving by 8pm but of course her shift ended at 5pm and could not go out of her way. Very sad, to say the least. I was told Delaware was known as a friendly state. I definitely dont believe that after her treatment and would advise people to stay away from this hotel and Delaware, unless you like to have the cops called on you!

    Visited with family for celebration

    My family and I utilized this hotel for the size of location and potential amenities. We got there and were advised of all the non amenities. We were told that there in no pool, no fitness room, no daily housekeeping without being scheduled, we were told that we had to schedule trash pickup. We were given nothing but lodgings. The breakfast didnt include much either. No coffee or tea and very basic poor motel type food. There were some other opportunities. My wife inquired about use of a meeting room and was told she could use it. No charge for it was ever mentioned. Friday morning, the manager called my wife and told her that it will cost $100 per hour for up to 4 hours of use. My wife said that we are just using space to gather all 14 of us there in the same location. We are not asking anything from the hotel. Then she was told that the charge could be decreased by 50%. ($50 per hour). My said why so much? We have to clean the room up afterwards and sanitize it. Wow (originally &100 per hour) She told them never mind. Then my sister in laws went to their room and it was dirty and floors were sticky. It also had a dead animal smell. There were no more rooms like the one that we rented. The room was sprayed with some air freshener that cut down the smell greatly. They were offered two more individual rooms but they didnt want to be separated nor was it clear that there wasnt going to be an additional fee. So they stayed. The second night, power went out and they said the room seemed like something was running around in the dark. They said enough is enough. They stayed up all night. Because I booked all the rooms, all that was offered was 1000 extra Bonvoy points. Well how fair was that. I booked all the rooms but I didnt pay for nor stay in all of them so how were they compensating their poor quality room? 1000 points if added equals about $100. What am I supposed to do, pay them $100? Hotel should have reduced room rate for them. The hotel lost nothing. They basically got full price for providing very little. There were other issues but look at attachments. Would not recommend nor planning on returning anytime in the future. Very disappointing.

    Nice location

    Hotel was clean, staff was friendly. Gym treadmills need some attention. Of the 3 - one was broke. One wobbled (as if one of the 4 legs were broken). At least one was working. Hotel is in a good locations with lot around it.

    Average at best

    Let me just say the staff here was very friendly but that's where it ends. The state of the hotel was very disappointing. This is what I got for being a lifetime titanium member. My room smelled like a dog kennel. Four of us had one queen bed and a broken pull out couch. I paid premium amount of points per night. 3 pillows and 3 towels for 4 people. Sure glad they paid attention to detail. Never again. Apparently the people making the reviews are not very fussy or I was very unlucky
