  Chris O. Was very helpful,accommodating and pleasant! Very knowledgeable! The room was clean and comfortable. They take COVID seriously allowing only one person at a time in the gym. The bag breakfast had plenty to choose from. Would definitely recommend.

  What a Dump!!!

  We checked into this hotel 2/19 for 1 night into a two bedroom suite. This hotel is an old motel where they updated the lobby and left the rooms in the 80's. Our first room was on the third floor and it was disgusting. The beds were not made, the ceiling was shedding on the floor, carpets obviously not vacuumed and bugs were climbing up the walls. The second room assigned was on the first floor here the beds were made but the shower was last washed years ago and has mold growing, there was a dirty stack of towels in the closet and the fridge was full of food that was half eaten from the previous occupants. I notified the front desk and the woman was very nice but said there was nothing she could do. Stay away from this place it's expensive and disgusting!!! Not Marriott quality at all!!!

  Great place to stay!

  I stayed at the Dothan Residence Inn for three weeks in February 2021 and the experience was wonderful from the moment that I drove into the parking lot and saw the well manicured grounds. I love the Marriott Brand Hotels; however, this was the first time that I stayed at a Residence Inn. Upon entering the lobby I was immediately greeted by Chris at the front desk and she was very friendly and wealth of information about the Dothan area. She provided me with a Dothan Visitor's Map and some points of interest that I may like. The lobby and common areas were very clean and smelled very fresh. Upon entering my room, I was so happy to find that it was very clean, arranged with all amenities, and had everything I needed to make my stay easy and comfortable. In this current COVID world, that makes a big difference! The linens and towels were very clean and my bed was very comfortable. The next day, as I was leaving to start my day of exploring Dothan, every employee that I encountered in the halls greeted me, and when I made it to the lobby, I was greeted by Pam, the General Manager, she was friendly and seemed genuinely concerned about my stay and needs. A couple of days after I checked in, Sheriuka, who works in Housekeeping, knocked on my door with a package full of fresh linens, towels, shower supplies, and kitchen paper and cleaning goods. She too was very friendly and concerned about my stay and needs. Likewise, so was Lakisha, who is also in Housekeeping was also very friendly and concerned that my needs were met. In summary, I loved my stay and friendly experience at the Dothan Residence Inn, and will stay here again without hesitation the next time I visit the area.

  Great Hotel!!

  Absolutely the best hotel in the area. We stayed there for 7 nights, and every employee we came into contact with was extremely helpful. Chris O. was amazing. She was always there with any question we had and very accommodating. The rooms were very clean. We couldn't had asked for a better hotel experience. If we are ever in the area again we will definitely be staying here again. Thanks Chris O. for all of your help during our stay!

  Stay here ! Look no further in Dothan

  My husband and I had an excellent overnight at The Residence Inn by Marriott when traveling from TN to FL. Chris, the evening receptionist, was very welcoming. She answered our questions about the services and set the tone for our stay. Our room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. The layout with the kitchen area, table, desk, TV, furniture was very functional and met all of our needs. We knew what to expect for a breakfast, given Covid times. Pam, the manager, was at the desk when we checked out. She was very warm and friendly. I believe she sets a great tone for hospitality, maintaining standards and staff morale (all staff) during pandemic times. Our stays in 2 other hotels on this road trip have not met even basic hotel standards for cleanliness, maintenance, and staff attitude. We have family who will be traveling back & forth between TN and FL. We will recommend this hotel to them and the traveling public.
