Excelente HotelEstuvimos 3 noches en este Residence inn de Marriot, en un departamento de dos dormitorios, muy espacioso, limpio, todos los marriot que fuimos en esta gira por el medio oeste americano fueron similares, muy buenos el personal excelente, es para recomendar, esta un poco alejado del centro de Denver, pero se llega enseguida y estas en un lugar mucho mas lindo y amplio

Nice, comfortable rooms...card key issues.We stayed 3 nights at this Residence Inn. Quick, friendly check-in with Nick at front desk. Room was very nice and large. Living room with pullout queen bed/sofa. King size bed with dresser and bathroom in other room. Two TV's. Kitchen area stocked with dishes and utensils and a couple of pots and pans...we only used some glasses and utensils during our stay. Large refrigerator and dish-washer too. A/C was a little loud when cycling off and on but we got used to it. Breakfast was nice, hot, good variety, eggs, bacon and/or different types of sausage. Fresh fruit, yogurt, pastries, coffee and juice. All we needed. The only complaint is that our key-card to the back door and our room didn't work numerous times throughout our stay. At least 4 different times we had to go back to the lobby to have them re-do our card. Not much in the way of a "sorry", just a "oh how frustrating for you". Another person on our floor had the same issue...and I would imagine others did as well. We made sure to not put our card key near a credit card as we know this can sometimes de-magnetize the card, so that was not the problem. Yes, it WAS VERY frustrating. Two times having to walk from the back door around to the front door...in the rain. Maid service was spotty too. Had to ask for extra toilet paper and towels on day two. They missed emptying a trash can or two as well. Other than the card key issue being VERY inconvenient, it was a nice, clean, comfortable hotel in a good location. Great steakhouse just a short walk away.

"Hotel is Old and in Need of Refurbishment", says Hotel Manager, John LyonThe Residence Inn Denver/Westminster pales in comparison to all the other Marriott hotels we have ever stayed. We were given a room that was not ready for occupancy and we could not switch rooms since the hotel was full. Maintenance did eventually resolve the main issue but it took a few stressful hours during which we were not sure if we would need to try to change hotels. No manager was available that evening but we did eventually speak with hotel manager, John Lyon, when he quite unapologetically stated that the hotel was old and need of refurbishment and would not offer any compensation beyond some Marriott reward points. However, the rest of the staff was pleasant but seemed understaffed and overworked perhaps as sign of the poor management here. During our stay we also had other issues: No morning newspaper(s) in the lobby as advertised in the hotel website Services/Amenities section and unlike the five other Marriott hotels on this vacation, but directions were offered to somewhere outside the hotel. The only one large luggage cart available for guests was broken the day we checked out and we had to use a small and unstable one. No housekeeping service on our second day, though a maid did knock at 7pm to ask if we needed anything. When questioned on the lateness, she said that housekeeping was shorthanded. The glass shelves above the vanity were not attached well with the bottom one looking like it could fall off the wall at any time. Our bathroom fan was not functioning until our second day and after we complained. The bathroom floor seemed to have structural issues as the bathtub creaked during our showers (bad for the people below) and the grout on the floor was cracked in several places next to the tub. The paper and plastic products seemed to be a much lower quality that we experienced at the other Marriott hotels on this vacation. The napkins in the breakfast area were the tri-fold restroom type, not the usual larger and much nicer Vanity Fair type. The laundry bag in our closet was just a folded bathroom trash liner and not the usual opaque bag with the hotel name on it. The hangers in the closet were the plastic tube type and not the nicer wood hangers. Our cable television experienced outages on several occasions. There was a lengthy delay at check in and out as there was only one person to manage the desk and no managers available. When we tried to change the credit card used for our stay at check out, the clerk told us that the card-reader was not functioning. Overall, our stay at the Residence Inn Denver/Westminster was not of the same quality that we experienced at any of the other Marriott hotels on this vacation or ever. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else where the hotel is not old and in need of refurbishment.

GREAT EXTENDED STAYI have stayed in alot of extended stay hotels with my dog and this one has been great! Melissa, Nick, Latesia and Jose are great. Free hot breakfast daily is always good. Housekeeping is great as well (Micki and Mai). Will definitely stay here again if I am working in the area again.

Dirty and unfriendly - clean it upWe chose this Marriott property based on its location to relatives, who live nearby outside Denver. We were on vacation in August. Frankly, we now would have driven further or stayed at another brand, based on our less than expected experience as regular Marriott brand customers. From check in, during Covid-19, throughout our 2 night stay, we experienced and saw numerous maintenance and cleaning negatives (see photos) plus dealt with a "care the less" front desk male person. Only after our bringing it up the second day, did he acknowledge our preferred Marriott member status. We feel there is a "laisez faire" management issue here. We suggest lodging elsewhere.
