    Un éxito de Marriott

    Gran réplica de la marca de Residence Inn con un muy buen establecido layout de lo servicios del hotel, la unidad en la que me alojé es amplia habitación con cocina integrada y una con sala de estar. El staff muy atento y servicial así como un desayuno buffet nos acompañaron para hacer el viaje muy satisfactorio El mejor asiste de este hotel es su localidad que toca una esquina de 3 ciudades en El Metroplex the Colony, Plano y Frisco teniendo así opción de estar en el que se necesite sin problemas de acceso. El sillón ya necesita tapicería URGENTEMENTE a lo cual es mi único punto de mejora que les doy

    La HouseKeeping no es exhaustiva con la limpieza.

    El hotel tiene buen aspecto justo al llegar, pero la pesadilla empieza cuando entras en la habitación. Puertas de los gabinetes de la cocina poco o nada limpios, alfombras, muebles y baño percudidos .... aspecto de viejo y poco mantenido. La luz del baño y la luz del horno microondas jamas funcionaron y tampoco vinieron a reparar después de reportar en la recepción. Las almohadas dan lastima, como papel duras, usadas y percudidas/manchadas, y la colcha de "plumas" es como aquellas que jamas reemplazaron en 20 años. La lencería es vieja. Cocina incompleta, faltan implementos que otros Residence Inn tiene y este no, que son indispensables para aprovechar la cocina y/o concepto de hotel para sentirse en casa y cocinar. El desayuno nada apetecible, no por la variedad, si no por la calidad. Huevos espantosos, pan de cuadrado basico, fruta de conserva, salchichas o algo así horroroso, bagels duros como una piedra, Verdadero desastre o todos los aspectos. Jamas visitar porque si el sentido es sentirse en casa (acogimiento, limpio, descansar, comodidad) con variedad esta lejos de ese concepto.

    Great property, well maintained

    Everything is spotless and feels fresh and clean. Staff is great. We were concerned about staying in a hotel with the pandemic going on but quickly felt comfortable here. The pool was closed which is understandable and breakfast was sparse but overall highly recommend

    The Worst Experience Thus Far

    We were in town for the weekend for an event in The Colony, TX. This Residence Inn (RI) location is extremely close to the venue we were going to and we prefer a larger suite that RI accommodates. Check-in was quick and easy however, the front desk agent never looked up at me during the entire process. She was not rude (as I have had this problem at this location in the past); she just was not personable at all. Upon entering the room, it look extremely dated. I had not stayed in this location in years but I thought I remember it being more updated that the room I was assigned. To my curiosity, I spoke with another friendlier young lady at the front desk and asked if my room was older and had not been updated. She had to call someone and was advised that this location has not been updated and all the rooms are the same. There we rips in the carpet, stains on the furniture, and dated window coverings. It wasnt too bad, just not up to par with other RI locations we frequent. A few minutes in the room, my wifes allergies start to go haywire (more about this later). When we made it back to the room late Saturday night, while attempting to take a shower, the entire bottom spout came unattached from the shower wall (see picture) and no water was coming out at all. I called the front desk and was advised that maintenance was not on duty at this late of an hour (1am). The front desk agent offered to switch rooms or wait until maintenance arrived the next morning. Being that it was after 1am, changing rooms was not an option for us. Maintenance arrived around 9am with a showerhead only to realize the lower spout came out of the wall and was unable to be repaired. Shortly after, the front desk called an informed us that we can use a room down the hall to take showers since we were due to check out. We were also advised that we would be comped 1 night for the inconvenience. Once we got up and started the tedious process of taking showers in another room down the hall, I started packing to checkout. While my wife was down the hall taking a shower, I noticed stains on the pillow and figured it was probably make-up. The only problem with that theory is she does not wear make-up. Upon further inspection, I turned the pillow over and it was covered in mold and mildew spores (see picture)!!! I immediately call the front desk and ask for a member of management to come to my room immediately and was advised that management is not on property during the weekends. I explained what I was looking at and he informed me that I would need to fill out an incident report. Shortly thereafter, the front desk agent (Johnathan) brought up the incident report form and took pictures of the pillows. The look on his face was all of disgust. He informed me that he would have housekeeping come up and removed the pillows and speak with a supervisor about comping my 2nd night as well. Upon checkout, Johnathan informed me that the Front Desk Supervisor was unable to comp my 2nd night. He recommended I speak with the Property Manager and gave me his contact info. I was totally appalled and insulted that RI comped a night for a broken shower but denied to comp another night for exposing my family to a hazardous health risk within their property. My wife suffers from severe allergies and upper respiratory issues and they were immediately triggered while we were in the room. Immediately upon checkout, I called the property manager (Justin) and left a message on his voicemail. I posted a review of this property in 2017 and vowed never to return to this location. It was not due to anything particular about the property at that time, only my interaction with the front desk. I have intentionally waited a few days to post my review in hopes that return contact would have been made from management by now. As of this date, no such actions have been made. Once again, I am extremely disappointed and insulted by this particular property. I hope that someone will reach out soon.

    Rude Customer Service

    Service was terrible! I understand there is a hit on the hospitality industry with CoVid and you would think the customer service would be excellent since they are now receiving business but no. We had to ask to have toilet paper sent to our room and there was not toilet paper in the lobby bathroom. When I called for our room the customer service lady who answered the phone was extremely rude as if I was bothering her. Will be looking for another brand of hotel to take my business.
