  We stayed here because it was close to the James where we had an early morning appointment. Due to the Covid thing, the breakfast was still being offered but no evening beverage service and no alternative was offered. The hotel itself was fine but my so-called "upgraded" room was for handicapped people. The desk clerk explained "it was a bigger room". I'm not sure I bought that story. We did some cooking in the room and it was equipped with the basic pots and dishes. I'd stay here again but avoid room 661 that has a noisy HVAC unit (we had to switch rooms at check-in).

  Great Property

  I visited during the pandemic so was very careful which hotel to stay in. I made requests on the type of room to minimize risks during my stay which were granted. I was also pleased to see all staff and nearly all guests wearing masks as they entered and left the hotel. Great staff and pleasant check in experience. I liked my room and the bed was very comfortable. I love the location of the hotel and will want to stay here again.

  quiet and luxurious

  We had reservations for one night at the Marriott adjoining the Residence Inn, but we were informed shortly before we arrived that the Marriott was closing down and we were being transferred to the Residence Inn. I called to discuss and make some requests, and the staff was quite helpful and friendly. They gave us a room in a quiet location as I'd asked for, and it was quite a big room and also provided with a kitchen.

  Do not stay here! Not healthy!

  Found out sick OSU students living here with covid! Will this not filter through the entire hotel via the hvac system?! This is wrong! I may cancel my Marriott rewards program! Talk about spreading a deadly virus.

  Amazing Hotel with Fantastic Staff

  We stayed here this past weekend while taking my son to tour Ohio State. The hotel was perfect. We have been very careful with Covid (first time we have done anything in almost a year) and we could not have felt more safe. The breakfast was perfect and the room was clean and immaculate. Parking was a cinch (and free) and hotel is super close to campus. The fron tdesk staff (Grant and the other lady who helped us) went above and beyond and were very helpful. If my son attends school here we will be regular guests. Highly recommended.
