  Had to clean our own room...during a global pandemic

  As someone who was already hesitant about staying in hotels during COVID, and for good reasons after staying here. We had to clean our own shower, as there was too much hair and it wouldnt drain properly. Not only that, the shower walls and floor were clearly not cleaned in a LONG time. We also had to do some laundry, and those were seriously gross too. Only 1 out of about 10 washers was barely acceptable to use. It was also clear those barely got washed. If you are someone who values cleanliness, THIS IS NOT THE HOTEL FOR YOU.

  A very good stay!

  We stayed for one night in this hotel on our way to Mt. Rushmore. This hotel is in an area with lots of other hotels and various fast food restaurants, such as McDonalds and Wendy's. it's easy on and off to I-380 which is very convenient. We were also within a couple of miles of lots of shopping, a mall and lot of sit down restaurants to choose from. It was a very nice area really close to the hotel. This hotel was pretty quiet. We had a king studio on the 3rd floor, but I would ask for something on the 4th floor for the quietest experience. The bed was very good, the TV was nice and had plenty of stations. There was a full kitchen, which came in handy because the breakfast was a grab and go of cereal, muffins, drinks and yogurt. Bringing it back to the room was made easier by having a breakfast bar and stools. There were no ice machines on the 3rd floor, but we were able to get ice on the main floor. The front desk staff was very nice and friendly. The hotel had 2 elevators, so waiting was never an issue on an elevator. The bathroom had a huge walk in shower, which was very nice. All in all, it was a great stay, and I definitely would stay there again if we were ever in the area.

  Pretty disgusting and unenjoyable

  We stayed in room 430 on 9/19/2020. Our sheets had either makeup or blood stains and did not appear to be clean. There was a months worth of dust on the lamps and telephone and fingerprints on counters and food smears on the microwave buttons and fridge handles. There was very little water pressure in the bathroom and you had to hold up the shower pin to get any water out while taking a shower which made it extremely difficult. My 12 year old pulled out a dirty towel with black smudges to dry off after her very unenjoyable shower. Masks are optional even though they have signs that say they must be worn. The air conditioning did not work in the bedroom at all and the bathroom door lock did not work. The pull out bed had food all in it. I cant believe how disgusting this room was. The front desk did provide, what I hoped, were clean sheets when I requested them, but really did not seem to care to much about any of the issues I raised when I asked to change rooms. I was told they were sold out. My overall experience was not enjoyable.

  This hotel is dirty. Period. We went to get Clorox wipes and clean ourselves. I didn't use the laundry facilities. No one was present at the front desk most of the time. No cleaning in the room during our stay. Nothing was vacuumed. Ever. Things should be much cleaner than this during a Pandemic. We had no choice due to home repairs from Derecho. Gross. Gross. Gross!

  Great hotel!

  We enjoyed our extended stay here so much. The separate bedroom makes it very roomy and comfortable. Cooking is easy because you have all that you need here. Our housekeeper Becky was awesome as well as Management Abigail and Devante. They made our time here very enjoyable!
