  Grate Place To Stay

  Overall I had a great stay in the penthouse was clean have full kitchen 2 bathrooms and two bed rooms wonderful stay its quiet. The staff were wonderful anything we needed or asked for was handled immediately overall I will be back

  Checked in on Saturday 1/23/21 reported to front desk about the draft coming in from the front door as seen in pictures I had to put a plastic bag and cover with a towel to keep the cold out because it was bad the fact that the door was not wouldnt secure properly and not only that was bad it looks like no one noticed that the ceiling was dirty bad in two areas and I cant see why housekeeping dont notice it and from what I can read here someone else that this problem dont know if it was reported then but I have reported this problem so I hope that anyone renting this room from this point on dont experience this problem again Overall the stuff was nice and I didnt asked to be move because I had my mom who was up there in age and my grand baby and I just wanted to relax after driving in from Long Island so I did request to change room but this hotel manger needs to pay a little more attention to this room when they are doing inspections of rooms

  Holiday Vacation

  This is definitely my familys favorite place to stay when we come up to visit family. They are renovating this hotel and I cant wait to see the final product. From check in to check out the service has been great. At check in they have signs ensuring everyone is wearing their masks, they also had hand sanitizer available for guests to use. Our room was as we expected, very clean and comfortable. I could tell they had recently remodeled it which was such a treat. The staff was super friendly as well. I definitely recommend the Hawthorne Suites in Tinton Falls, NJ.

  Disappointed - no maintenance at this property - renovations needed

  Lobby floor rugs upon arrival notably dirty and apparently not vacuumed recently, including tic tacs scattered on the floor. The floors of our unit in the bathroom and bed area appeared dirty and needed vacuuming. We paid for a room with a microwave and hairdryer which were not there. We did not receive a microwave when we requested one. We realized upon leaving the hairdryer we requested was delivered to the wrong neighboring room. One of the sheets on one of the beds seemed to have a large dark stain resembling possibly motor oil on it. The automatic dish tablets left for use were left on the floor below the kitchen sink which appeared to be missing normal cabinetry - there were no kitchen linens or towels. The kitchen table, chairs and cabinetry were all very worn or scratched and basically the entire unit needed complete renovation and improved cleaning. The only breakfast offered was grab and go which was scarce with no hot options except for coffee, tea and hot cocoa. Option of yogurt and wrapped hot sandwiches which we have had at other hotels of this type during the pandemic would have been nice.

  Accommodating rooms for families

  First the good, the rooms, though not wow worthy, were sufficiently clean and had everything a family of 4 needed for a months stay. The clientele however made this an unpleasant stay. There were all night parties and rowdy families above us every weekend and occasional weekday. There were multiple cop visits, a DEA arrest, a hit and run and our room smelled of smoke and weed. Covid seemed to be used as an excuse to offer no service. I had to go to office and beg for towels and linens, which were always still being washed. I had to strip and change my own beds. I stayed here out of necessity but would not stay here for pleasure, especially since rates were not cheapest.
