  Broken hot tub - not good for a ski trip!

  Recently stayed at this hotel for a ski vacation and was very disappointed to learn upon arrival the hot tub was out of order. It looked as if it had been broken for a long time as it was completely drained and taped off with blue tarps. After a long day of skiing, we really look forward to relaxing in the hot tub. Had we known about this, I would have switched to a different hotel. To make matters worse, on the day we decided to try out the heated pool instead, the doors to outside were propped open with chairs so the pool area was very cold and the water not nearly warm enough for a comfortable swim. We lasted about 30 seconds before having to leave. On the plus side, the rooms and lobby area were clean and the staff was all very nice so this is still a great hotel for a business trip but stay away for skiing.

  A great stay

  Pretty new place, super clean in and out. Great front desk help. Room was huge and clean. We traveled with our dog- they head treats at the front desk. Right behind the hotel is large park to walk the dog. Rooms very quiet, heard no noise from next door or upstairs at all. only noise heard was while in the kitchen area of our room heard a child go running down our hallway. We generally stay up in SLC to visit our sons at college but this was definately worth the extra 15 minute drive.

  great room with a view

  The room is very Nice and clean. The staff was good. The breakfast was great for this time of covid 19 . the grab and go was great a lot of choices .. the best on I have seem in the last few months of traveling .

  Never stayed in a bad Marriott until this hotel

  We stayed at this hotel one night, and that was enough. The front desk staff was very kind and helpful at check-in. In our room, we were shocked at the lack of cleaning, especially at this time when Marriott promises sanitized rooms. Here is what I found. The refrigerator had tape holding the handle on the door. The shower curtain was short to be effective and hanging on only half the needed hooks from the rod. The rest just hung loose. In the corners of the bathroom and under the counter there were piles of dust, crumbs, dirt, etc. There was a partial label from something, someone sat down on the tub. The dining table still had spilled, dried food on it. The outside of the hotel has over-grown weeds and piles of cigarette butts by the back door. I only stay in Marriott hotels and this should never have a Marriott name on it. Stay anywhere but here. I do not trust their cleaning, you shouldn't either.

  Visiting my Grandson in SLC, Utah

  I am a titanium elite member and spend about 200 nights in hotels a year. I stayed for a little over a week at this wonderful hotel which I have been to many times because of it's cleanliness and friendly staff. After leaving I realized I had left my mouse for my laptop in the room. I called and spoke with Tiare Fonoimoana the assistant General Manager who located my mouse and shipped it to my home. She was incredibly kind and helpful and I plan on coming back for the holidays. In this challenging time its awesome to know there are kind people who go "Over the Top", in helping this sometimes forgetful Grandpa! Thank you Tiare and thank you Marriott!!!!
