  Back Again

  This has turned into my spot when I am in the Augusta area. They still are doing a good job with service and cleanliness. This hotel is still at the top of my list for accommodations when staying in the Augusta area. Keep up the good work.

  Terrible Experience!

  Walked into the lobby at 1 pm and was told 'NO CHECKING IN TILL 3PM. Not welcome or we do not have any rooms available but come back after 3 pm. No one in the lobby and parking lot empty. I left and called GM Tristin Davis but was bit working that week end and never did he return my call. I guess he is just too important to do his job. Never in over 50 years have I been treated in that manner from any hotel chain. Always happy at the Marriotts and then went to the Downtown Marriott and was welcomed and treated special. Mr. Tristin Davis you have failed in this instance and I urge others to patronize hotels that deserve their business. Do not waste your time with a generic reply as you should have contacted me long ago and fixed the negative situation into a positive one.

  Big, clean room, good stay with only minor peeves

  Not sure I've stayed in a Residence Inn before as the large, suite-style room with 2 windows was unfamiliar. Large sitting area. Decent bed & lighting with USB & power plugs bedside. Kitchen area with counter/cabinets, small stove, microwave, dishwasher, sink & mid-size fridge/freezer. TV on swivel for bed viewing or sitting area. Bathroom with tub/shower & toilet in closable room and vanity/sink connecting to main room would allow two to get ready & avoid a shower-fogged mirror. Place looked clean & felt safe. Free, open-air parking. Minor peeves, Coffee/tea station available during the included breakfast is not left "open" all day. Actual mugs & glasses in room (are they really clean?). As such, I actually prefer the cheap, but wrapped, plastic cups for hotel use. The ice bucket had no lid - not a big deal. Also, ice machine is on 1st floor, making for a hike if you want ice. Overall, a good overnighter.

  Convenient and attractive

  Ive stayed in many Residence Inns and this is one of the best. It seems really new and the location is perfect for a stop on your way to somewhere else or for a visit to Augusta. Staff are really nice and helpful. We had a two room suite and it was very large, and though we only were there two nights, I know we could be there comfortably for several weeks. Breakfast was good, with adjacent lobby seating if the actual breakfast area gets too crowded. Will stay again when in Augusta.

  Great location

  The facility is located in a place that is easily accessible and close to many area attractions. Check -in process was great. Staff were very courteous. However, the room door was faulty and difficult to open. Staff member didnt offer to fix the door or place us in another room
