  Property is Perfect; It's the Service That has Changed

  Stayed for 3 nights over a weekend. Newly renovated & furniture is great. Have stayed here many times over many years so I was surprised that the staff on this visit were unfriendly, no smiles, no, welcome, no hello at any time. Internet was terrible & went down multiple times all weekend, making me sign in repeatedly. I love the location & I normally find the staff very friendly so hope that this will change. There was a rowdy party in hallway one evening & this is also unusual for this family friendly location.

  Filthy

  This hotel is renovated, but already is filthy. Shower had some sort of mold or other disgusting compound in relatively modern drain. When I went downstairs to eat breakfast around 9AM on Sunday, there was almost no food, no juice and coffee was showing almost 3 hours on the clock. Coffee was awful and cold. Long black hair between bed sheets. First and last time in this awful place. Oh, glasses for sure didn't see dishwasher from inside. I have suspicion same rug was used to clean toilet and glasses in the cupboard.

  Filthy bathroom and common spaces

  At first glance the property appears recently updated with fresh interior. However, upon closer inspection it appears they cut corners and stopped cleaning. Our bathroom tile was disgusting, carpet looked unvacuumed and the elevator floor was gross. We will not be back

  Did not feel safe

  We had to make a trip to Buffalo for a medical appointment and booked a night at this hotel in June. I expected that there would be a heightened level of cleanliness due to COVID but was very disappointed upon arrival. The lobby was not clean (should have been my first clue) but the room was worse. The trash from the previous guest had not been taken out, the room overall did not feel clean. We also had to use the fold out sofa and discovered that the linens for the pull out had also been left in the room. Upon alerting the staff (which was a skeleton crew) there was no apology for the condition of the room. I would not recommend this hotel especially during this time. I was prompted to write this review because we were back in Buffalo this week for another appointment and stayed at Homewood Suites in the same area which was a completely different experience - very clean and friendly staff. Felt completely safe staying at the Homewood Suites.

  Bad Experience

  I booked this hotel online I paid for a 2bedroom suite and the 1 queen bed suite online which was 700$ for Friday to Sunday because online it said the pool was open once I arrived at this location to get checked in the lady at desk tell me that the pools no open and I have to put down 500$ more dollars because its a 250$ Deposit fee for each room I told her I didnt kno nothing about that then she said will if you booked through a third party they wouldnt kno either so We still end up staying because the rooms was paid for and I didnt wanna ruin the family getaway and didnt have more money to booked somewhere else and knowing I cant get my money back around 830pm I get a call staying that 2 different ppl was complaining about noise and told me if she call me again we will be kicked out with no refund(but the quite hours are from 10pm to 6am) so after that I called to for towels she said I had to come get them mind u I gotta come out my building walk to the main entrance which is outside now I gotta walk back outside to the room with towels no bag no nothing the next day I call and say that the toilet is plugged up the lady the desk say we got a plunger here at the front desk but you gotta come get it so back outside I gooooo I will never stay here again and will never recommend nobody to stay here no breakfast no pool but they still want a 250 deposit without the stuff ppl like to do when u go to the hotel swim and eat and relax they is ripping people off the prices and service do not match.
