  Convenient To Boston

  This Residence Inn by Marriott was selected due to easy access and convenience to Newton and Boston. The suite included a pullout fullsize bed and kitchenette. The space was packed with three sets of dresser drawers, a long desk, and breakfast bar. A charging station featured two USB plugs and shelf. The TV was located on the outside wall, reducing noise to neighbors and allowing full view from anywhere in room. Loved the kitchen space, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, breakfast bar. Liked less the tight space and smaller pullout bed. Recommend thicker, firmer mattress and blanket and second pillow provided without having to request. Loved the shower. Super roomy. Hot for the most part. Large shampoo provided. Conditioner was out but tiny sample sizes available. Would love a tub with jets even more or a hot tub or steam room in the pool area! Liked the pool, but no hot tub, sauna, or steam room. Water was not super warm. Room was heated. No towels in morning, restocked later in day. Liked the gym with water cooler and cardio, but machines are old, treadmills are noisy, yoga mats are dirty. Complimentary ear buds available! Helpful staff. Breakfast buffet great! Better than other hotels! Cookies and ice water at front desk. Would love fresh fruit, too! Housekeeping was good. Came in early to mid afternoon. Complimentary small water bottles! Would return! Worth it for extended stays!

  Great hotel and good location

  This is a very well run and clean Residence Inn. The location is great if you want to be in Metrowest Boston plus close to all of the major roads. The actual location of the hotel is in an office park but if you drive a few miles you will be near a lot of good places. I will definitely stay again.

  Best business stay ever

  I was stuck in Boston 2 Months during covid for business. Michael and his staff made me feel like home. Their attention to detail and commitment to hospitality is unmatched. It was a pleasure staying here, and made my time away from family bearable. Thank you so much for everything!!! Arash

  Come on! You can do better!

  Hotel itself is clean & room spacious! Location was ideal for our visit. Last night of a multiple location vacation. That being said...service was not up to par at all! We asked for extra towels & pillows in special instructions when booking room, but there was nothing in room when we arrived. In addition, no bedding at all for the pull out bed in room. We were told we had to go down the lobby and pick up all of it from front desk b/c she was only one on that night and could not leave front unattended. We realize covid has sent hotels scrambling, and we are fine with making accommodations... no housekeeping, breakfast in a bag, pool closed, etc, but only 1 employee on site on a Sat. Night? Really??Already had my pjs on when I called down to desk... had to get dressed & head on down. I piled the big package of bedding, pillows & towels in my arms and dropped the towels a couple times off the top going back to the room. That was sanitary! Ugh!!! What a pain! Again, I am more than happy to make accommodations due to covid, we all have to do our part, but it shouldnt mean having to lug items that should have already been in the room, all over the hotel. I find that a ridiculous excuse for not staffing the hotel to the proper levels of employees. BTW: I know it can be done right b/c the Homewood Suites down the street (where we stayed earlier in the week) was PERFECT!!

  BED BUGS! Gross, Huge Inconvience, and Ignored by Manager.

  I stayed at the Residence Inn Needham in September while visiting family. After a long day, we got to into bed only to be swarmed with BED BUGS. This was at midnight. We quickly got our things and went to the front desk (after documenting the bugs) and discreetly told the staff what had happened. They were shocked and quickly canceled our room reservation. Unfortunately, we had to find a last minute accommodation that night in Boston, a task that proved difficult and expensive. Not only did we arrive to the NEW hotel at 2 AM, but we had to clean and sanitize all of our belongings. For the things we could not clean, we had to throw away (luggage, shoes, etc.). This experience was a NIGHTMARE. After alerting a manager (Michael Gendrin), he said that the hotels insurance would reimburse us for the extra costs, but they never did and he began to completely ignore me. terrible experience and made worse by the horrific customer service.
