    Excelente hotel en las cercanías de Boston

    Un hotel que me ha sorprendido por su calidad, amabilidad de los empleados, limpieza, instalaciones y un desayuno muy completo, las habitaciones muy amplias incluyen una pequeña cocina. Muy recomendable

    Good hotel, inept management and some support staff.

    I stayed at this particular location for 12 days from end of August through the first part of September. I usually stay here when I travel on business to Burlington. As an SPG member have stayed at many Marriott properties over the years, globally. While the hotel is mostly clean and very convenient to my supplier, a recent experience suggests I will not be staying here again. The front desk staff and Ian (FDM) told me when I checked in that my SPG number was entered for credit for my stay. I was told this as well (I asked again) upon my departure and was assured my number was entered. Two weeks now of no resolution, nor credit to my account. I have called the overall hotel Manager (Brooks last name) where he told me he would call and follow up. Never happened. Lied to now three times. Called Marriott SPG directly and they stated that it would take up to 10 business days because the hotel NEVER ENTERED my number!! I asked to speak to a supervisor only to be told she could do nothing and I would have to be referred to a different supervisor, and that it would take up to two days for them to call me back. I have been a member for over 10 years and never (globally) has the service and follow up been this poor. Never. Numerous call trying to get this straightened out, and still no movement. Never will stay here again, and now rethinking staying at Marriott at all going forward. Terrible.

    Above average Residence Inn

    Recently visited the Burlington/Boston Residence Inn with my granddaughter for a hockey tournament. As a Platinum for Life guest of Marriott I have stayed at more than my share of Residence Inns and expect a clean room, comfortable bed and a good breakfast. Well in this day and age the hot breakfast has been replaced with a brown bag breakfast but the room along with all the common areas was very clean, the bed was comfortable and the staff very attentive. I noticed where there was a gathering in the lobby the group was reminded by a member of the staff on social gathering and suggested an area where they could meet at a proper social distance an indication that the hotels commitment to keeping you safe is more than lip service. The common rest rooms, halls and more important elevators were immaculate. The hotel is located in a business park and adjacent to a mall there are an abundance of eating establishments within walking distance that also have takeout or can have the food delivered to your room. If you are starting to venture out again and will be in the Burlington area, I suggest the Burlington Residence Inn, you will not be disappointed.

    No service, no apologies, had to unclog shower drain myself

    I had to unclog the shower drain myself - I even had to pry it off with scissors. Then I called the front desk (Stephanie) to tell them how nasty it was and how I had to clean it myself. I then asked to get my room cleaned and Stephanie said no since I hadn't been there 7 days (I've been here 5 days). She refused to have my room cleaned until I finally got upset with them. She never apologized once. When I talked to the general manager, there was never an apology issued even after I showed him the picture of the disgusting amount of hair I had to pull out of the drain and his employee's response. I shouldn't have to clean other people's out of the drain, let alone clean the drain at all. They claim that they can't clean the room because of COVID but yet they leave a half-used roll of toilet paper and paper towels in the room from the previous guest. Only God knows if they replace the soap, coffee, etc. before the next person checks into the room. The vent in the room is absolutely filthy. Who knows when the last time it's been cleaned. Don't expect any kind of real breakfast. Marriott is saving so much money by not providing hot breakfast and house-cleaning yet all you get for breakfast is water, a banana (sometimes) , yogurt and packet of oatmeal that you have to package up yourself after every other guest has touched and breathed on it. It wouldn't be that hard to offer prepackaged breakfast burritos or sandwiches that can be heated up in the room.

    Great Residence Inn

    I was shocked to read negative reviews about this property. Its always very clean and I feel safe here despite the COVID raging throughout Massachusetts. Granted the breakfast is not the full Residence Inn of the past but it has improved since previous stats and offers a great deal of variety. I have found Stephanie at the front to be extremely helpful and accommodating. We were here last summer for two weeks during an emergency hospital situation and she snd the staff were excellent. Due to ongoing treatments next door at Lahey, we will be back often. There are other hotels in the area but this is the only one we would choose.
